US unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 9 June 2021 update improves Quick Share
In the month of August, the Galaxy Note 9 flagship will be three years old but Samsung is still providing new software updates every month. A few days ago, this device had received the latest Android patch in Germany, and the company is now pushing the same firmware to the US unlocked units.
According to the info, the Galaxy Note 9 started receiving the June 2021 security patch update in the US. It comes with build version N960U1UEU8FUE1, which brings fixes for 47 CVEs from Google, and 19 SVEs from Samsung in order to increase system security.
At the same time, this OTA improves the Quick Share tool for enhanced file sharing between Galaxy devices. However, the Galaxy Note 9 had already lost its eligibility to get any major s/w update, which means it will spend its remaining time on the One UI version 2.5 on top of the Android 10 operating system.
Like every time, Samsung is releasing the new Galaxy Note 9 June 2021 security patch update in a staged manner, so it may take a while to be available for every US unlocked unit. Till then, you can check for the update manually by navigating to your device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.

After unlocked models, Samsung has started releasing the April 2024 security update for carrier-locked variants of Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphones in the US. The update is live on Comcast, T-Mobile, and Xfinity Mobile network carriers.
April 2024 security patch fixes over 40 security flaws to provide an intuitive experience. It protects against security threats by incorporating the latest security patches for Android. It also enhances some functions to provide a more reliable and efficient user experience.
Users of locked Samsung Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphones can identify the April 2024 security update in the US through PDA version N98XUSQS6HXD1.
If you have received the update pop-up on your smartphone, you can install it to get an enhanced experience. You can check and install the update through Settings >> Software Update >> Download and install.

Samsung has acknowledged the Quick Panel issue in its latest One UI 6.1 update that is affecting users. The issue unexpectedly activates the quick panel when users interact with notifications or try to access detailed views. This problem has been a cause of inconvenience for many Galaxy users.
The tech giant has assured its users that a fix is in the works. A community moderator said the company apologizes for the inconvenience caused by this bug and has promised to deliver a software update to resolve the Quick panel issue on One UI 6.1 devices.
Samsung has not provided a specific timeline for the update but suggested keeping devices up-to-date to benefit from the latest software advancements. The upcoming update is expected to resolve the Quick Panel issue.

Samsung has pushed an April 2024 security update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones in Korea. This update enhances system security and stability as well as adds new features for a better user experience.
April 2024 security update for the Galaxy S22 series in Korea brings Mobile ID support for the Samsung Wallet app. Through this update, users can save and use their government-issued mobile driver’s license and national veterans registration card on their phones.
However, only IC cards with a mobile ID icon can be added. Users can use it anywhere just like your real ID. In addition, the update also applies the Google security patch to enhance the performance

Users will have to download a 420MB package to install the update. To install the update, need to navigate to Settings >> Software Updates >> Download and install.
