Samsung Galaxy Note 8 now more secure as it gets May 2021 security update

Launched back in August 2017, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 flagship has already taken two Android OS upgrades and completed its major update support lifecycle. Furthermore, the company has also dropped it to a quarterly update schedule from a monthly basis two months ago.

Recently, the Galaxy Note 8 had received the April 2021 patch, and now Samsung pushed a surprising software update, which brings the latest May 2021 security patch. Identified via release number N950FXXUFDUE4, this new Galaxy Note 8 update is currently rolling out in Germany.

Though it’s an initial rollout so the company may expand its reach to more countries in the coming days. Until. you can easily check for the latest software update by jumping to your device Settings, select the Software updates section, and finally tap on Download and install.

Aside from this, Samsung also releasing the June 2021 security patch to the latest and premium Galaxy devices even before beginning the next month. As of now, the Galaxy S21 series and Galaxy Z Flip 5G owners joined the party with the latest security update. It will be available to more Galaxy devices very soon.
