Samsung smartphone users reported having issue with Good Lock Home Up application
Good Lock’s Home Up lets Samsung users customize the home screen and app drawer as per their creativity. It also offers several customization features such as screen layout, neatly arranged icons, Home screen, Apps screen, and many more. It also allows users to blur the background and page looping for the app drawer.
Aside from these features, some Galaxy device owners reported having issues with a major functionality of the Home Up application. According to the reports, when the user picked 7 apps as favorites in the Home Up settings, it automatically reduces the favorite selections to only 5 occasionally.
Previously, the company rolled out a major Home Up update which comes with an integrated Task Changer module, so the issue likely to occur after the recent update. It is worth noting that only a few users have reported the error regarding the favorite settings in the Home Up app.
Moving forward, the Good Lock manager replied to the user’s query and suggested updating the One UI Home to version 12.1.01.15 and Home Up to version 2.0.01.11. To check the current application version on your device, follow the steps mentioned below.
- One UI Home:
- Device Settings >> Applications >> Samsung App Settings >> One UI Home >> Home Screen >> Information >> Check the latest version.
- Home Up:
- Good Lock >> Click the’!’ button in the Home Up menu box
If the issue still unsolved even after updating both of the applications, then send a report (log) via Samsung Members app by navigating to ‘+’ >> Send an error (Please check to Send system log data).
