Samsung remains on top in terms of global TV sales for 15 consecutive years
On February 23, 2021, a market research company Omdia has released data that reveals, Samsung Electronics secured 31.8% of the global TV market share in the fourth quarter of 2020, and in the largest category of TV market share by revenue in 2020, the company accounted for 31.9%.
The growth of Samsung in the visual display business shows its commitment to the highest quality home viewing experience. The company features different innovative technologies in this field such as fast-growing QLED, ultra-large screens of 75-inches, introduction, expansion of the lifestyle TV product portfolio, and many more.

On the other hand, a report of Counterpoint revealed that Samsung was the most famous brand in the Russian market in terms of online smartphone sales in Q4 2020. Meanwhile, Xiaomi led the smartphone market and Apple ranked third, thanks to the good performance of the iPhone 12 series and Huawei’s supply shortage.
