Samsung Messages app getting Google’s RCS chat features via new update

Back in April, Samsung announced that the company is working with Google since 2018 to bring Google’s Rich Communication Services (AKA RCS) support for its Galaxy devices to make conversations more seamless. Following its commitment, the South Korean tech firm has started releasing a new version update to the Samsung Messages app.
According to the latest information, the Samsung Messages app getting support for RCS chat features with this new update. As per the screenshot shared on Reddit, the user updated their Samsung Messages app and got a new on-screen prompt notifying – “Faster, richer, higher-quality chat on Wi-Fi or data”.

Now, Samsung device users no longer have to install the Google Messages app to experience the RCS chat features. Samsung Messages app with RCS allows users to do chat over mobile data and Wi-Fi, receive and send high-resolution photos and videos, create feature-rich group chats, and receive read receipts.
Furthermore, the Samsung Messages app is also available on the desktop, which makes it easy to transition seamlessly from mobile to PC.
If the update for the Samsung Messages app doesn’t arrive at you, no need to worry. The RCS chat features will be available to download for you in the coming days/weeks.

Samsung Theme Park 1.0.9.59 update adds default option

Samsung Theme Park app is getting a new update with version 1.0.9.59 for Galaxy devices. This time, the update arrives with new features along with common improvements.
Through this new update, the company adds a new option to the Theme Park app, which is named Default. If you have created or applied any new theme from the Theme Park app and you want to do it as before, that is, the one that came by default in the smartphone, then you can use this new option.
At present, the company has added this default option only to the themes and icons of the Theme Park Good Lock module. Now, you can easily apply the default theme on Icons and Themes.
For selecting the Default option, you just need to open the Theme Park app >> tap on the Themes/Icons >> Tap on the Default option.

In addition to this, the update also brings common improvements and bug fixes to provide a better and smoother experience. Users of eligible Galaxy devices will have to download a 15.27 MB package to install Samsung Theme Park 1.0.9.59 update on their smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy S22 June 2023 One UI update begins rolling out

Samsung started rolling out the June 2023 security patch with the Galaxy Z Fold 4 smartphone and then expanded it to a few more Galaxy smartphones including Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy A52s. Right now, another Samsung flagship series – Galaxy S22 has started receiving the June 2023 update.
June 2023 update for Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra come with One UI build versions S901BXXU5CWEA, S906BXXU5CWEA, and S908BXXU5CWEA respectively.
The fresh update improves several functions of the device to provide a seamless experience. The latest security patch fixes over 50 vulnerabilities and exposures found in Galaxy devices.
In addition, several apps including Samsung PENUP, Internet, SmartThings, Members, Calculator, and Voice Recorder may be updated to the latest version after the software update.
The Korean tech giant is currently rolling out this update for the Galaxy S22 series in Europe and will expand it to more markets soon. It is an initial rollout so it may take time to reach your Galaxy S22 smartphone.
The installation package size of the latest update is above 333.62 megabytes, you can download and install it to get a smoother usability experience.
