Samsung Galaxy Z Flip getting December 2020 security update
While Samsung is busy providing Android 11 based One UI 3.0 update for the Galaxy S20 series smartphones in different regions, it hasn’t skipped sending security updates to its other devices.
The South Korean tech giant is now expending the latest December 2020 security patch to its clamshell foldable device, Galaxy Z Flip. It increases the device’s security to keep secure against different levels of threats and CVEs.
Aside from the security patch, this firmware update for Galaxy Z Flip 5G also brings stability enhancements and bug fixes for a better user experience. It enhances the system features which help to grow its performance level.
What about One UI 3.0?
Samsung has started the One UI 3.0 beta testing program for the Galaxy Z Flip devices in South Korea and also provided the first One UI 3.0 beta update. As per the official roadmap, this device will start receiving a stable Android 11 based One UI 3.0 update starting January next year.
