Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom: Samsung x Warner Bros. Pictures exclusive partnership
The release of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom this December will be one of the biggest cinematic events of the year. Ahead of the release of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Samsung announced its collaboration with Warner Bros. Pictures.
The holiday collaboration consists of two phases, a global store activation and a European digital activation: Aquaman’s Smart Things Kingdom. The campaign will encompass Samsung’s entire multi-channel system.

With the wait for the official big screen release internationally on December 20th and the 22nd in North America, the official trailer for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will be available exclusively on Samsung TVs in stores for visitors to see in jaw-dropping 8k.
As part of a broader 8k content partnership between Samsung and Warner Bros. Pictures, this launch is an important step forward that will showcase the capabilities of Samsung Neo QLED 8k, sparking consumer excitement to watch movies in cinematic quality before their release.
Launching across Europe from 11 December 2023, Aquaman SmartThings Kingdom will take audiences on a journey through Aquaman’s kingdom.

Samsung recently started pushing One UI 6.1 update for Galaxy A53 5G users, but it was limited in Singapore. Now, the company is expanding this major update to A53 users in Europe and the US.
One UI 6.1 update brings enhancements and improvements over the previous UI to provide a better experience. It brings a battery protection feature that allows users to choose different options to help maintain battery capacity over the lifetime of their phone.
In addition, it brings a feature to move subjects from one image to another in the Gallery app. Now, you can customize the alarm background with your own images or video and set the world clock to show sunrise/sunset details.
Furthermore, the update also enhances Call and Messages Continuity by adding new features and enhancements. The update also includes the April 2024 security patch and upgrades apps to the latest available version.

Samsung could launch its first wearable robot named Bot Fit in the next quarter. A new report reveals the company has conducted the development of its first wearable robot. This product is expected to be unveiled in the market in the third quarter.
The Chosun reports that Samsung and LG will likely compete in the robotics market in 2024. Beyond AI appliances, Samsung is preparing to launch Bot Fit, its first wearable robot. This product could assist individuals with mobility issues and enhance physical activity.
The company has been reportedly supplying Bot Fit prototypes to senior communities. Ahead of unveiling Bot Fit in the market, Samsung dissolved the Robot Business Team in the DeX Division and reallocated R&D personnel under the CTO.
A Samsung representative explained, “The R&D team has completed the development of Bot Fit and is preparing for the next steps. The reorganization aims to strengthen the robotics business.”
Next-gen humanoid robots
The South Korean tech giant is also involved in next-gen humanoid robot development. Samsung’s Executive Chairman Lee Jae-yong has assigned this project, having a keen interest. Meanwhile, the robot Ballie is also expected to launch this year.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 users are getting a new update with a May 2024 security patch, improving system security and stability for a better user experience. The update is rolling out to users in India and the company will soon make it available in more countries.
May 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 smartphone carries One UI build version F936BXXS7FXE6 and an installation package size of 441.51MB. To install this update, your smartphone’s software must be up to date.
The fresh patch fixes 45 vulnerabilities including 33 from Google. It includes 3 Critical and 26 High-level CVEs. The update also features 25 Samsung-specific fixes. It makes your device more secure and stable.
Earlier this month, this smartphone started receiving the One UI 6.1 update, which is now available on all Fold 4 models. If you are also a user of this device, then install this major update to enjoy the new features and enhancements. The May 2024 patch also improves the overall performance of the device.
You can check the update by navigating to the device’s Settings, then a Software update, and Download and Install. If you have received the update, install it now to get enhanced features.
