As you can see in the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra renders, Samsung is on the same approach it does with its flagship tablet. The design is way too premium and makes the Tab S9 Ultra a stunning choice for those who are wondering to purchase an iPad killer in 2023.

It’s worth mentioning that the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra gets a metal unibody, while the back panel includes a dual-camera setup accompanied by a LED flash. Below the camera array, there’s a magnetic field, which will let users put S Pen on it when not in use.

At the bottom, the tablet features a speaker grille and a USB Type-C port. On the right side, there’s a power button and volume keys, while on the left side, Pogo connector pins are installed which will be handy for connecting the external keyboard.

Talking about the front, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra renders showcases a notch and thicker bezels on the sides. The device will be equipped with a premium display with a higher refresh rate to deliver a stunning user experience. The company may introduce more power-efficient displays for its next tablets.

Samsung May 2024 Week I updates

Welcome to the May 2024 Week I of Samsung’s newest updates! This May, Samsung is rolling out fresh updates, bringing the newest features and fixes to your Galaxy devices. No matter how you use your phone or tablet, these updates surely make things more enjoyable. Let’s check out what’s new with Samsung in May 2024 Week I.

Samsung initiated the month with the release of the April 2024 patch for a range of devices, including the Galaxy S20 FE, A24, Tab A8, and more. Also, the company expanded this patch to more Galaxy devices in different markets.

The most notable aspect of this week’s update is the beginning of the One UI 6.1 Phase II rollout. Flagship devices such as the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy S21 series, and the foldable Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Z Flip 3 began receiving the One UI 6.1 update. This update was anticipated to bring new features and a refreshed interface to enhance the user experience with selected AI features.

However, Samsung encountered some issues with the new software such as device rebooting and lock screen. As a result, the company reportedly temporarily stopped the rollout of One UI 6.1 and reverted the affected devices to the previous One UI 6.0 version.

Looking ahead, Samsung will reportedly begin the One UI 6.1 Phase III rollout on May 14 in Canada. This phase will include the Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy A54, and Galaxy A53.

This week’s updates also extend to the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro, XCover 7, and XCover 6 Pro, which received support for 4G in Europe. This update specifically revises the LTE TDD band support. For devices purchased in Germany, the update will disable TDD 4G network support in ten European countries, aligning with regional network requirements.

As Samsung navigates through these updates, users can expect the stability and innovation that One UI updates promise to deliver.

Samsung may not debut Exynos 2400+ with Galaxy S24 FE: Tipster

Published

Samsung Galaxy S24

Rumor spreading that Samsung may debut an Exynos 2400+ chip with Galaxy S24 FE is fake. Tipster OreXDA claims that Samsung won’t bring any mid-cycle iteration of its Exynos chipset, however, improvements to power efficiency and yield are likely.

Reports surfaced claiming Samsung could bring Exynos 2400+ chip to the Galaxy S24 FE. As we didn’t see much happening in the past, the segment would continue as it has so far. Hence, no Plus, Pro, or Ultra iteration of Exynos would launch this year.

The rumor claimed that Exynos 2400+ may bring up to 10% power efficiency and yield boost. The tipster noted that the chipset may be marketed with Plus branding for promotional purposes. However, it would hurt Samsung’s chip distribution strategy.

If this happens, Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus users would think robbed. We’ve seen such happening with the Galaxy S22 and S23 FE flagships. While the former debuted the Exynos 2200 chip, the latter was equipped with its enhanced variant paired with a larger cooling chamber.

Samsung won’t fade its reputation just for silly marketing purposes. The Exynos 2400 is a tough competitor to its Qualcomm counterpart, which we haven’t seen in previous generations. Samsung’s enhanced process and yield would benefit it before the S24 FE arrival.

Exynos 2400 used in S24 and S24 Plus features a 10-core architecture. It’s fabricated on Samsung’s 4-nanometer process technology and has 1 core Cortex-X4 at 3210 MHz, 2 cores Cortex-A720 at 2900 MHz, 3 cores Cortex-A720 at 2600 MHz, and 4 cores Cortex-A520 at 1950 MHz.
