Samsung is preparing to roll out One UI 3.0 for its consumers but ahead of that, the South Korean tech giant is conducting the beta testing of this new One UI version on its flagship Samsung devices.

To be mentioned, the users of the Samsung Galaxy S20 series already started testing One UI 3.0. On the other hand, Galaxy Note 20 lineup users recently begin to register for One UI 3.0 beta in some markets.

In the coming weeks, Samsung will further expand the reach of One UI 3.0 beta to more users and once the testing phase finishes, the company will start to roll out a stable OTA to the general consumers.

Samsung recently started the One UI 6.1 update rollout for a bunch of Galaxy devices including the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Galaxy Z Flip 3. Now, the company is planning to begin the One UI 6.1 Phase III rollout in mid-May 2024.

According to the information @theonecid, Samsung will start the One UI 6.1 Phase III rollout on May 14, in which Galaxy A series devices have also been added. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy A54, and Galaxy A53 smartphones are confirmed to receive a new software update in Canada on May 14, expecting to bring One UI 6.1 features.

However, the One UI 6.1 update for Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy A54, and Galaxy A53 smartphones is expected to start rolling out earlier in other countries. The update is highly anticipated, as it promises to enhance device security and functionality.

As the release date approaches, Samsung device users are eager to experience the new capabilities introduced by One UI 6.1. The Korean tech giant has promised to make Galaxy devices smarter, more secure, and feature-rich with One UI 6.1.

Samsung encountered issues with the One UI 6.1 software update for its Galaxy S22 series and has temporarily suspended it. Recently, the company started releasing the One UI 6.1 update in Korea. However, the Korean tech giant has reportedly stopped the update due to some issues and reverted to the previous version One UI 6.0.

According to the information via @Tarunvats, the One UI 6.1 update has been suspended for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series due to the lock screen issue. In addition, the software version has also changed back from S90xNKSU3EXDC to S90xNKSU3DXD3. In addition, some reports reveal that the update is paused due to a rebooting issue.

One UI 6.1 update was released to bring a host of improvements, including a more intuitive interface and advanced AI capabilities. However, the lock screen and rebooting issues have delayed these benefits for users worldwide.

Currently, it’s unclear when the One UI 6.1 update will be available again, especially for users in other countries. Samsung is likely working on resolving the issue to ensure that the update is secure and functions properly before releasing it again.

Samsung has started deploying the One UI 6.1 update for its Galaxy Z Fold 3 users. Currently, the update is available for users in Korea and the company will expand it in the coming days.

Based on Android 14, One UI 6.1 is identified by the build version F926NKSU2IXDC and an installation package of 2.4GB for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphone.

One UI 6.1 update introduces several new features to provide an enhanced user experience. A standout feature is Google’s Circle to Search, which allows users to search for information directly from their screen without needing to switch between apps.

To use this feature, users can press and hold the home button or navigation handle and draw a circle around the desired text or image. This action will immediately initiate a Google search for the selected content.

Users of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 can look forward to a more intuitive and smarter experience with the new One UI 6.1 update. To install the update, open Settings >> Software Updates >> Download and install.
