Samsung Galaxy Watch X might launch with robust build, no Watch 7 Ultra

Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra

A new report claims Samsung might launch the Galaxy Watch X instead of the Watch 7 Ultra. This year, the company is bringing a new smartwatch with a robust build, similar to what Apple did in the past.

Recently, the design and build were revealed in CAD-based renders. However, the latest input suggests that Samsung might market its monstrous smartwatch as the Galaxy Watch X rather than the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra.

As per Techmaniacs, Samsung might launch Galaxy Watch X with a more premium design, targeting consumers who require a more robust build. It is said to be water resistant up to 100 meters, making it an ideal product for diving.

In addition, the report mentions that the company might launch the Watch X with an expensive price tag. It would be more expensive than the Galaxy Watch 7 Classic, probably reaching the price range of Apple’s Watch Ultra.

The South Korean tech giant could hold its Unpacked event in July this year. The event may bring new foldable phones, near set of wireless earbuds, new Wear OS smartwatches and Galaxy Ring.

As for the Galaxy Watch 7 series, we’ve heard that the company’s first 3nm chipset will debut. The upgraded SoC is said to offer enhanced performance and up to 20% power efficiency over the previous generation.
