Samsung expands stable One UI 9 update to Galaxy Tab S11 series, M35, F36, M07 and F07
Samsung has begun pushing the stable One UI 9.0 update for a bunch of Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy Tab S11 series, Galaxy M35, Galaxy F36, Galaxy M07, and Galaxy F07. The latest rollout is bringing Samsung’s newest software experience to more Galaxy users.
One UI 9.0 update is now rolling out for the Galaxy Tab S11 series in South Korea, while the Galaxy M35, Galaxy F36, Galaxy M07, and Galaxy F07 are receiving the update in India. The rollout may take place in phases, so availability can vary depending on the device and region.
Samsung has released the following firmware builds for the eligible Galaxy devices:
- Galaxy Tab S11 series: X930XXU9CZJ6
- Galaxy M35: M356BXXU9EZJ2
- Galaxy F36: E366BXXU8CZJ5
- Galaxy M07: M075FXXU7DZJ5
- Galaxy F07: E075FXXU7DZJ5
The package size of this update for these devices is over 2.5GB. So users should ensure they have sufficient storage space and a reliable internet connection before downloading it.
One UI 9.0 is Samsung’s latest software version for compatible Galaxy devices. It introduces new features, interface refinements, feature improvements, performance optimizations, and security enhancements.
Galaxy users can check for the update by opening Settings and going to Software update. Then, tap Download and install to check whether the new version is available. If the update appears, download and install it by following the instructions on the screen. Before installing, back up important data, charge your device sufficiently, and connect to Wi-Fi if possible.

Samsung soft-launched One UI 9 Watch (Wear OS 7) release date
Samsung has soft-launched the One UI 9 Watch release date. The Wear OS 7-based software is final on the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, in Beta on three older generations, and still without a stable release date for everyone else. A Samsung announcement on October 28 about an AI-powered sleep apnea feature adds a fresh clue about when older watches could catch up.
Samsung’s One UI 9 Watch update
One UI 9 Watch is Samsung’s interface layer on top of Wear OS 7, the version Google shipped in stable form alongside Android 17. Google says Wear OS 7 can deliver up to 10 percent more battery life than Wear OS 6, though results on Galaxy Watches may differ.
On the Google side, Wear OS 7 adds Live Updates for ongoing activities, easier control of compatible devices, a media output switcher, and music streaming to several speakers or headphones at once. We expect Live Updates to tie into Samsung’s Now Bar on Galaxy Watches.
Samsung’s own additions include a slightly more vibrant design, new widgets, quicker access to AI assistants such as Gemini, and new health and fitness tools. Early Beta builds for the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra added Antioxidant Index and Vascular Load, with a Blood Pressure Trend feature replacing both in the US.
The software also carries a longer promise. The Galaxy Watch 9 and Ultra 2 are confirmed to receive updates until July 2031, five years from launch.
Official debut in August 2026
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 at Galaxy Unpacked in London on July 22, with sales beginning on August 7. Both ship with One UI 9 Watch on Wear OS 7 and run on Qualcomm’s 3nm Snapdragon Wear Elite chip.
That makes August 7 the practical release date for the finished software, since it was the first day customers could use it without joining a Beta.
This is why the rollout reads as a soft launch. Samsung has said earlier watches will follow through its usual tiered approach, but it gave no stable window or Beta announcement on launch day.
Beta Program on several models
Samsung opened the One UI 9 Watch beta in South Korea in waves, working backward through its lineup. The Watch 8 beta reached the US within days, and enrollment runs through the Samsung Members app.
Recent builds carry the October 2026 security patch and fix issues with Always On Display, quick settings, and the Now Bar. Samsung has not announced a stable date. Global builds typically follow Korean ones by a week or two.
The Galaxy Watch 5 is not in Beta but has reportedly been in internal testing. Beta software can be unstable, so anyone who relies on their watch daily may prefer to wait for the stable version.
Older models may finally get it next month
A Samsung press release in Korea on October 28 offers the freshest clue. The company said its upgraded, AI-powered sleep apnea feature has won approval from Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. It reaches the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Ring in Korea in November, then expands step by step through software updates to existing models running Wear OS 7.0 or later, including the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch 8.
The feature sorts breathing disruptions into three levels (mild, occasional and frequent) after at least five hours of sleep recorded on two nights within 10 days, through the Samsung Health Monitor app. Samsung positions it as a screening aid for adults 18 and older without a prior diagnosis, not a substitute for a doctor’s assessment.
What it means: Samsung is planning around Wear OS 7 reaching older watches. The release gives no date for that update, and it does not say older models get the feature in November. Given the late-stage beta builds, our reading is that stable One UI 9 Watch for the Watch 8 and Watch 7 could land in November or December, but that is an inference, not a commitment.

Galaxy A54 receives One UI 9.0 official update, completing a striking OS support
Samsung began the official rollout of its Android 17-based One UI 9.0 update to the Galaxy A54 5G. The distribution has started in Korea, following the conclusion of the Beta Program that was running for a few weeks in the market.
Galaxy A54 users on One UI 9.0 Beta are getting GZJ5 update in South Korea. This is a small update, weighing under 300 megabytes. It carries the October 2026 security patch, targeting 79 vulnerabilities across Android and One UI.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A54 with the Android 13 operating system. The smartphone was promised to receive four major OS upgrades and five years of security patches.
Android 17 arrives as the final major OS upgrade, with no adventures left in the journey. A handful of security patches will arrive to tackle vulnerabilities in the Android ecosystem and One UI software system.
If you stayed on One UI 8.5, the update should be there soon. The rollout is prioritizing Beta participants for a reliable switch. Also, users outside Korea may need to wait a few days as the distribution is sequential.
Samsung’s One UI 9.0 introduces a clean and dynamic Quick Panel. Toggles are now bigger, and volume/brightness sliders are easier to adjust. The personalization experience has been elevated, thanks to Home Up-linked tools.
Warranty and care page is another notable addition inside Settings. It’s rolling out across Galaxy devices, regardless of the product lineup. It makes tracking warranty simpler and raising claims effortless through a dedicated page.
If you’re rocking a Galaxy A54, consider keeping it until it dies itself. Memory crunch, as significantly raised smartphone prices. You would need to spend around $600 to get the latest Galaxy A57 smartphone in the US.

The Galaxy M17 has also started receiving the One UI 9 update in India. The new firmware version is M176BXXU8DZJ5, and the package size is around 2.4GB. It also includes the October 2026 security patch. The Galaxy F17 is getting the update with version E176BXXU8DZJ5.
One UI 9 update brings the latest Samsung software to these Galaxy devices. It includes software improvements and security updates to help keep phones protected. Users should note that the available features may differ depending on the device.
All these smartphones have received the October 2026 security patch. This update helps fix known security issues and improves phone protection. Samsung is rolling out the update in phases, so it may not be available to everyone at the same time.
To download the update, open Settings on your phone and tap Software update. Then select Download and install. If the update is available, follow the instructions on the screen.

Samsung Galaxy M54 and F70 Pro getting One UI 9.0 (Android 17) update
Samsung’s Android 17-based One UI 9.0 stable update has begun rolling out to the Galaxy M54 and Galaxy F70 Pro. The latest software updates follow the ongoing distribution to the Galaxy M36 and Galaxy M47 in various markets.
One UI 9.0 rollout for Galaxy M54 and Galaxy F70 Pro suggests that Samsung is randomly picking models rather than following a series. Users of the Galaxy M56 and Galaxy M55 are still waiting for the upgrade, but it landed on a past model.
Software build versions:
- M546BXXUFGZJ3: Galaxy M54 5G
- E476BXXU3BZJ1: Galaxy F70 Pro
Samsung is distributing the update sequentially, meaning you may not immediately see the OTA build. Meanwhile, you can trigger the installation through Settings > Software update > Download and install.
What’s new in One UI 9.0?
One UI 9.0 is built on Android 17, bringing the latest enhancements to Samsung devices. Galaxy M and F series phones, like the Galaxy A lineup, skip the adoption of AI-powered tools, but that doesn’t mean One UI 9 has nothing impressive.
Quick Panel is now heavily customizable, letting you alter the sliders. You can also tweak cards just like your friends rocking Pixel phones do. Samsung also worked on offering a clean user interface while expanding personalization.

Your Galaxy phone is getting a dedicated Warranty and care menu in Settings. This page allows you to check your warranty information and access diagnostic checks and useful information for keeping your device in top condition.
Samsung Health, in particular, is getting at least ten major improvements. If you own a Galaxy device ecosystem, built with a smartwatch and Galaxy Ring, your health monitoring and tracking experience is going up significantly.
The default clock on your Lock screen has been redesigned with a cleaner and more modern look that adapts to match your wallpaper. You may find even more tools and solutions to tailor the One UI as per your own preference.

Samsung One UI 9.5 Beta release is getting closer – Here’s why December 2026 looks likely
Samsung is currently working on One UI 9.5 for Galaxy devices. While the company continues rolling out the One UI 9 stable update to more devices in more countries, work on its next software version appears to have already started.
Although Samsung has not officially announced the One UI 9.5 Beta Program, several signs suggest that its launch could be getting closer. Based on previous release dates, the beta program is expected to begin soon.
Here is everything you need to know about the expected One UI 9.5 Beta release date and the latest developments.
One UI 9.5 Expected Release
Samsung has followed a similar schedule for its recent One UI beta programs. Looking at the previous two years, the company started its beta programs in early December.
The company officially launched the One UI 7 Beta Program on December 5, 2024, for the Galaxy S24 series in selected markets. Similarly, the One UI 8.5 Beta Program started on December 8, 2025, for the Galaxy S25 series.
Looking at these dates, Samsung could follow the same pattern for One UI 9.5. The beta program is therefore expected to begin in the first or second week of December 2026.
However, Samsung has not confirmed the launch date yet. The actual release schedule may change depending on the progress of software development and testing.
One UI 9.5 Development
Reports suggest that internal One UI 9.5 test builds have already appeared for several Galaxy devices. This indicates that Samsung has started testing its upcoming software internally.
Before releasing a beta update to users, Samsung usually tests the software to find bugs and improve its performance. If everything goes according to plan, the company could open the beta program earlier than expected.
However, the appearance of internal builds does not confirm an immediate public release. Samsung may need more time to test and improve the software before making it available to users.
One UI 9.5 internal test builds have reportedly been spotted on several Galaxy devices. These include the Galaxy S26 series, Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy A57, and Galaxy A17. The appearance of these builds suggests that Samsung is preparing its next software update for different Galaxy device categories.
However, this does not mean that all these devices will receive the beta update at the same time. Samsung may initially limit the beta program to selected flagship smartphones and markets, as it has done with previous releases. More details about supported devices should become available when Samsung announces the program.
Samsung Members app hints at Beta Program
Samsung has increased expectations for the One UI 9.5 Beta Program with an app update. Reports suggest that Samsung has updated its beta banner in the Samsung Members app.
Samsung Members is the app where eligible users can find information about beta programs and register when enrollment opens in their region. The reported banner change could suggest that Samsung is preparing for the next beta program. However, it does not confirm the official release date.
One UI 9.5 support appears in a Samsung app
Samsung has also reportedly introduced One UI 9.5 support in an update to its Nearby Device Scanning app. This is another sign that development of the new software is moving forward. However, the update does not reveal the complete list of new features or confirm when the beta will become available.
One UI 9.5 Stable Update
The stable version of One UI 9.5 could arrive alongside Samsung’s next Galaxy S series flagship smartphones in January or February 2027. If Samsung follows its usual schedule, the update may first reach eligible flagship devices before expanding to other supported Galaxy phones and tablets.
Samsung One UI 9.5 development appears to be moving forward, with reported internal builds and system app updates suggesting that preparations are underway. Based on previous beta release dates, the One UI 9.5 Beta Program could begin in early December 2026.
Galaxy users should wait for Samsung’s announcement to learn the exact release date, supported devices, and new features. Until then, December 2026 remains the expected launch window for the One UI 9.5 Beta Program.
