Standard Samsung Galaxy S26 SG26S

After the standard Galaxy S27, Samsung’s Galaxy S27 Plus, Galaxy S27 Pro, and Galaxy S27 Ultra also appeared on GSMA records. Samsung is reshaping its flagship strategy, and 2027 will welcome four premium phones.

According to ErencanYılmaz (via OVR+), Samsung Galaxy S27 Plus, Pro, and Ultra models have visited the GSMA database. Appearance of the upcoming phones follows the initial listing of the base Galaxy S27 model.

The base, Plus, and Ultra models have surfaced for the US market, whereas the Pro version is for the Global market with dual SIM support. Well, it doesn’t mean that the Galaxy S27 Pro will not be available for purchase in the US.

  • Galaxy S27 – SM-S952U
  • Galaxy S27 Plus – SM-S956U
  • Galaxy S27 Pro – SM-S957B/DS
  • Galaxy S27 Ultra – SM-S958U

Samsung’s Galaxy S27 strategy is taking shape, and the Pro variant is being added to the lineup. We’ve heard about some specifications, which include display size, privacy display testing, camera sensors, and processor.

Samsung Galaxy S27 series GSMA listing

Galaxy S27 Pro may feature a 6.47-inch screen, probably with Privacy Display tech. Samsung is reportedly testing a 3.5x Telephoto camera as well. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip will power this upcoming flagship.

Samsung tried to kill the Galaxy S26 Plus this year and bring the S26 Edge to the lineup. However, the company ended up cancelling the S26 Edge and retaining the S26 Plus, but this year’s approach is something different.

The company is keeping what works and adding what to experiment. If Galaxy S27 Pro sells well, it could finally replace the Plus model.

From what we’re seeing in the first teasers, the Galaxy M47 is gearing up to be one of the most attractive Samsung phone models in the segment.

The phone’s Red/Maroon color variant has a matte backpanel, pairing a Black chassis. The color combination itself looks so catchy and something new that everyone has been waiting for.

Samsung may launch two Privacy display phones in 2027: Galaxy S27 Pro and Ultra

Published

Samsung Privacy Display

Privacy Display is one of the most discussed mobile innovations of 2026. Samsung launched the Galaxy S26 Ultra with a hardware-level Privacy display feature, and if the rumors are true, the Galaxy S27 Pro may also bring this technology.

Samsung’s Privacy display feature is an innovative masterpiece. It’s backed by Samsung Display’s Flex Magic Pixel OLED technology. One UI atop hardware allows some decent tools to meet personal preferences.

Galaxy S26 Ultra is the first phone that comes with such a feature. When enabled, the OLED tweaks pixel lighting to dim the screen visibility from side views. It safeguards the on-screen content for others, while keeping the panel visible for the user.

Two Privacy display phones in 2027

Weibo leaker DCS revealed that Samsung is testing Privacy display on the Galaxy S27 Pro. The feature hasn’t been finalized yet, so we aren’t very hopeful, as the company has a history of reserving trending techs.

Galaxy S27 Pro reportedly boasts a 6.47-inch screen. It’s just a new screen size, which is completely different from previous flagships. That said, the phone will be a compact monster, while getting Ultra-level hardware capabilities.

Meanwhile, if the Galaxy S27 Pro gets a Privacy screen, the start of 2027 would witness a simultaneous launch of two flagships with the technology. 2026 brought one, but 2027 might be different, if the rumors hold.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Privacy Display

Samsung is currently focusing on the Summer Unpacked, reportedly holding on July 22 in London. Three foldable phones, two smartwatches, and an intelligent eyewear are on the agenda alongside the official One UI 9 reveal.

Galaxy S27 Pro might be as trending as the Galaxy S27 Ultra in 2027. The phone is getting a capable camera setup, and the inclusion of a Privacy display would make it more appealing. Let’s see if Samsung brings the innovation to its compact flagship.

Galaxy S26 FE gives Samsung’s failed chip a second chance

Published

on

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE

Samsung tried hard to commercialize Exynos 2500 in late 2024, but failed after incredible efforts. Meanwhile, the company used the chip in the Galaxy Z Flip 7, and it’s now getting a second chance in the Galaxy S26 FE.

A fresh Geekbench leak shows the Galaxy S26 FE runs the Exynos 2600 chip. The device’s initial performance scores are also revealed through the listing.

Exynos 2500 features a 4-cluster deca-core (10-core) CPU. It has one prime core, two performance cores, 5 mid cores, and two efficiency cores. The processor offers a peak speed of 3.3GHz and is fabricated using a 3nm process.

  • 1-Prime Core: ARM Cortex-X925/Cortex-X5 with a clock speed of 3.30 GHz.
  • 2-Performance Cores: ARM Cortex-A725 running at 2.74 GHz.
  • 5-Mid Cores: ARM Cortex-A725 with a clock speed of 2.36 GHz.
  • 2-Efficiency Cores: ARM Cortex-A520 with a 1.80 GHz clock speed

Exynos 2500 was a failed product; the reason was that it failed to achieve what it was made for. Galaxy S25 series would have handed a vast expansion, which Galaxy Z Flip 7 couldn’t.

Meanwhile, Samsung is continuing its Fan Edition chip strategy. Last year’s FE model borrowed the chipset from the 2024 flagships. Now, the 2025 flagship chip is set to power the Fan Edition slated for a late 2026 launch.

Galaxy S26 FE borrows design language from its parent models. The back panel incorporates a camera island, which looks incredible. Wireless charging is also getting a minor upgrade, which improves the magnetic connection.

Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S26 FE sometime in September this year. The company is preparing to hold an Unpacked event next month, which will introduce new foldables, smartwatches, and gear.

Samsung reveals Exynos 2700 progress for Galaxy S27 phones

Published

on

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra SG26U S Pen

Samsung is working on the Exynos 2700 processor, which would power the Galaxy S27 series next year. The prototype version of this chip has already appeared on benchmark platforms, revealing its potential direction.

On June 18, Park Yong-in, President and Head of Samsung Electronics’ System LSI Business, shared the progress of the next-gen Exynos chipset, the Exynos 2700, which is being developed to be used in the Galaxy S27 series.

President Park revealed that the development of Exynos 2700 is on track. The LSI Division is aiming to secure supply for the Galaxy S27 series. Samsung’s MX Division will assess the SoC before approving it for the smartphones.

Park stated (via NewsIS), “We are developing the Exynos 2700 without any setbacks, aiming for its inclusion in flagship models.”

Samsung used Exynos 2600 in the Galaxy S26 series and plans to expand it to the Galaxy Z Flip 8 this year. Meanwhile, the chip designing division may flag an annual deficit due to market shifts and contracting demand.

Samsung Exynos 2600

Galaxy S27 and S27 Plus may get the Exynos 2700 chip, while the S27 Pro and S27 Ultra may prioritize the Snapdragon SoC. Adoption of Exynos 2700 is expected to grow as the Exynos 2600 is doing a better job than its predecessors.

Samsung is gradually gaining trust for its in-house mobile platform. Snapdragon is still ahead in terms of real performance, but the gap is narrowing. Exynos 2700 may grab an even larger share in the Galaxy S27 series next year.

The Korean tech giant is preparing to hold the next Unpacked event in July 2026. It will be focussed toward new foldable phones and smartwatches. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S27 series may land sometime in February 2027.
