Samsung confirms Galaxy AI in 2024 foldable phones
Samsung just dropped a hint confirming Galaxy AI in upcoming foldable phones. Debuted with the Galaxy S24 series, the Galaxy AI technology will be seen in the next-gen foldable devices.
Yesterday, Samsung announced new languages for Galaxy AI features. Unlike the Global Newsroom post, the US-dedicated press release mentions “with more coming soon” when relating the eligible devices.
“The newly supported Galaxy AI languages and dialects will each be available for download as a language pack from the Settings app across all devices that support Galaxy AI. That includes the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Flip5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series, with more coming soon.”
While AI features are in consideration for the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung ensured this tech in the next set of foldables. Recently, a report revealed that the company found it hard to optimize AI features on Galaxy S22 phones.
Since there’s a different between Samsung’s statements in Global and US press releases, consumers are a bit confused. It would have surely given up hope to S22 users for Galaxy AI, but One UI 6.1 would lack it for the time being.
Galaxy S23 FE comes with the same chipset as the Galaxy S22 flagships. However, the Korean tech giant is restricting AI on older phones citing hardware requirements, which could be only vapor chamber cooling.

Samsung recently rolled out a new update for Galaxy A55 smartphone which enhanced 4G TDD band support. Now, the Samsung Galaxy A55 is getting another software update with an April 2024 security patch. The fresh update improves system security and stability to enhance performance.
April 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy A55 smartphone rolling out in Europe and the company will expand it soon. Users can identify the latest through One UI build version A556BXXS2AXD3 and an installation package size of 203.50MB.
The company is dispatching the latest software update with system security improvements to keep your files and data safe on your phone. It also optimizes system stability to offer you uninterrupted and seamless functionality on your device.
Users can check new software updates manually with a handful of simple steps. Firstly, visit your Galaxy device’s System Settings, once done, scroll down and tap the Software update tab, followed by the Download and install button. If you have received the update on your device then install it now to get error error-free experience.

Google’s Pixel phones received the first Developer Preview of Android 15 in April 2024. The new operating system will remain limited to the Pixel lineup until I/O, while, Samsung will open its Beta Program — One UI 7 — for Galaxy devices sometime in August 2024.
One UI 6.1 is the latest Galaxy skin based on Android 14. The One UI 7, powered by Android 15 will debut on many Samsung devices later this year. While it’s just the beginning of 2024, we already know Galaxy devices are eligible for Android 15.

Google released Android 15 DP2 in late March and Public Beta also started in April 2024. Around I/O 2024, Android vendors like Xiaomi, OPPO, and OnePlus will also initial Public Beta for their flagships, which Samsung is unlikely to follow.
