Samsung Galaxy S23 November 2024 update US

Samsung Galaxy S24 is the latest Galaxy S series, which offers several new and impressive features along with Galaxy AI and the latest One UI 6.1 software. At the moment, Samsung is preparing to release One UI 6.1 update and Galaxy AI features to older Galaxy devices including Galaxy S23. However, users of Galaxy S23 have to manage their expectations as some of Galaxy S24’s features will not reach older models.

Among the several exclusive features of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, these four will not be released for the Galaxy S23 with One UI 6.1.

1.) Full-screen Always-On Display (AOD)

The Galaxy S24 Ultra features a full-screen Always-On display, which displays notifications, time, and other essential information even when the phone is in standby mode. Unfortunately, this feature won’t reach the Galaxy S23.

2.) Screen Vividness Adjustment Slider

Samsung Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra devices have a new Vividness option under Advanced display settings. Once enabled, your smartphone will offer more vibrant display colors, as well as a more natural and customizable viewing experience.

3.) Photo Super HDR

Super HDR is one of the biggest upgrades that Samsung brought with the Galaxy S24 series. This feature displays 64x more colour so you will notice smooth videos in every take. It provides more realistic results by optimizing color contrast on bright and dark spots with Algorithm Optimisation. Super HDR analyses subject movement and noise patterns so you can make clearer videos.

4.) Advanced camera algorithm

The Galaxy S24 Camera provides fast shooting and an advanced image quality experience. An advanced camera algorithm delivers an amazing photography experience, optimizing images to almost professional quality.

These S24 Ultra features will not be included in the S23 Ultra, but all the Galaxy AI features will come with One UI 6.1.

Samsung One UI 7 Beta November

Samsung is reportedly going to start the One UI 7 Beta Program for Galaxy S24 users in mid-November 2024. Notably, at SDC24, the company officially announced to make the Beta update available at the end of this year for developers. But What does One UI 7 Beta mean for you?

First of all, the beta program offers you a chance to try out the new features of One UI 7 and Android 15 before the official version is released in 2025. Many users have been eagerly waiting to see what cool features and enhancements are coming, and this beta will give you a sneak peek at that.

Samsung has already created a special page on its US community for the One UI 7 beta for the Galaxy S24. In addition, there’s also a forum page for the Galaxy S23, which suggests that more users will have the opportunity to join the beta.

Some reliable tipsters have also hinted that the beta could start within a couple of weeks, which means we’re getting closer. The Beta Program is a great opportunity for users to explore new features and help Samsung improve the software before the major update release.

Keep in mind that not everyone may be able to join the beta. In past years, the program has been limited to users in countries like India, South Korea, the US, Germany, the UK, and some more.

However, it’s still unclear whether Samsung will release the One UI 7 Beta update first for developers or also for flagship devices. While Samsung hasn’t confirmed the exact release date for the One UI 7 beta, several leaks suggest it could launch in mid-November.

So, are you ready to explore the One UI 7 beta? While you wait for the official launch, make sure to stay tuned for updates and prepare your device to enjoy the new features!

Samsung highlights 1.2.15

Samsung could bring iOS 18-like media player UI to One UI 7 lock screen. The major interface revamp could replace the current layout with a larger one. The major update is set to be released for Galaxy devices early next year.

According to Ice Universe, One UI 7 could adopt a revamped lock screen media player UI. The current stake will be replaced with a brand-new design. It could be inspired by Apple’s iOS 18, which occupies a large portion of the lock screen.

One UI 7’s lock screen media player design could feature the thumbnail in a large square. The track progress bar and other buttons could be followed in a separate overlay. The blur setup will decide how cool the UI revamp looks on Galaxy lock screens.

iOS-equivalent interface is a long-due demand of Galaxy fans. Samsung is seemingly on a mission to offer very significant design tweaks with the One UI 7. We’ve already heard a lot about the refreshed quick settings and notification panel.

Apart from the new media player UI, the next One UI update will bring brand new quick settings and a notification panel. Fruitful functional refinements have also been made to enhance the overall user experience.

The company’s developers are also ensuring smoother animations. The end result would be comparable to Apple’s iOS, reports say. Galaxy AI is also said to add several new features and deeper integration with the applications.

Samsung could launch the Beta Program this month. The Stable update rollout will only start after the unveiling of the Galaxy S25 series. Phase I devices for Beta and Stable include S24, S23, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5.
