Samsung is releasing a new security update with the June 2025 security patch for Galaxy A54, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphones. The update is live for users in South Korea, and the company will soon expand it to more countries.

June 2025 security patch fixes 36 high-level Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) provided by Google and 19 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items. It mainly fixes issues related to Screen Capture, fingerprint, Bluetooth, Theme Manager, Samsung Cloud, and more.

This latest update makes the Galaxy device more secure and stable. It is based on Android 15 and One UI 7.  Users will get a better performance once they install the latest security patch.

Samsung Galaxy A54, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3 users are getting the June 2025 security update with One UI build versions A546SKSSADYF1, F926NKSS9KYF1, and F711NKSS9KYF1, respectively. The installation package size of this update is around 300 MB.

To check for software updates manually, head to your phone’s Settings. At the bottom, you will get the Software update section, simply open it. Inside the submenu, you need to hit the Download and install button if your Galaxy fetches a new OTA.

Aside from this, Samsung is currently testing One UI 8 features on the Galaxy S25 series through the Beta Program. However, flagship models, including Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3, are not eligible for this major update, while Galaxy A54 will get this update. The company is going to release stable  One UI 8 with the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7.

Samsung’s June 2025 security update addresses 36 high-level Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) provided by Google. These Android-related fixes have been integrated into Samsung’s One UI security patch.

In addition to the Android patches, Samsung has included 19 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items in the June 2025 update. These enhancements aim to boost the overall security and stability of Galaxy devices.

One UI 8 Update

Samsung is currently testing One UI 8 features on the Galaxy S25 series. The company also confirmed to unveil the One UI 8 stable update with Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 smartphones in July 2025. After that, the company will expand the update to more Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S22 series.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic are getting a firmware refresh in the US amid One UI 8 Watch update uncertainty. Verizon has just pushed a new security patch dated March 2025 to Samsung’s OG Wear OS smartwatches.

Recently, Samsung announced the One UI 8 Watch Beta Program. The company has also revealed eligible watch models that exclude the Watch 4 series. It’s the first official hint that the OG wearables may not get the One UI 8 Watch update.

The Galaxy Watch 4 series at Verizon is getting the March 2025 security patch. We are about to enter July, and the carrier providing an old patch seems a bit weird. However, it might be the last OTA, hitting the end of support next month.

Galaxy Watch 4 was launched alongside the Galaxy S21 series in 2021. Samsung usually offers four years of software updates support on wearables. That makes the Watch 4 series, probably, ineligible for another big OS upgrade.

We’ve already predicted Samsung’s potential move to exclude the Watch 4 series from One UI 8 Watch. As the official version debuts in July, the rollout may kick off in August or September, which is passing the July support end deadline of Watch 4.
