Samsung is sending a new update with a March 2024 security update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 smartphone users in the US. The update fixes several issues to enhance the security and stability of the device. It is rolling out for both locked and unlocked models.

The fresh security patch brings a host of fixes and improvements for Android and Samsung’s software. It fixes 2 critical and 35 high vulnerabilities in Android, and Samsung also adds 9 enhancements to its user experience, such as AppLock, Bootloader, and some services.

Notably, Samsung is the world’s first firm that has achieved the milestone of developing ultra-small all-solid-state batteries. As mass production is expected in 2026, we assume the Galaxy Watch 9 series could boast new all-solid-state batteries.

Both the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 come pre-installed with Android 14 based on One UI 6.1.1. These foldable devices are set to receive the next major One UI update, expected to be available to developers by year’s end.
A community moderator revealed that a One UI 7 Beta program will soon be accessible to regular Galaxy users. However, details regarding eligible devices and schedules are yet to be confirmed.
