Forgot your SmartThings Find PIN? Here’s how to unlock your phone and reset it
Samsung SmartThings Find is a feature that helps you locate your Galaxy devices, such as your phone, tablet, watch, or earbuds, using the SmartThings app. It also allows you to lock your devices remotely in case they are lost or stolen, to prevent unauthorized access to your data.

To unlock your phone and restore these functions, you need to enter the PIN that you set up when you locked your phone on the SmartThings Find website. But what if you forget your PIN? Don’t worry, there is a way to reset it.
Here are the steps to reset your SmartThings Find lock PIN:
1. Go to the SmartThings Find website and log in with your Samsung account.
2. Select the device that you locked with SmartThings Find.
3. Click on the “Lock” button
4. Click on the “Enhance security” checkbox and agree to the terms and conditions.
5. Enter and confirm a new PIN that you want to use to unlock your phone.
6. Click on the “Lock” button again to complete the process.
You have successfully reset your SmartThings Find lock PIN. Now you can unlock your phone by entering the new PIN on the lock screen. You can also use the restart and download mode functions as usual.
SmartThings Find is a handy feature that helps you protect your Galaxy devices, but it also has some limitations. If you ever need to reset your phone when locked by SmartThings Find, you can follow the steps above to reset your PIN and unlock your phone.
Samsung just got approval for a display innovation patent, which it applied to last year. United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) recently published the Samsung patent, which was filed on April 30, 2023, with publication number US20240138190A1.
As Samsung continues to innovate, the Display division is about to bring a major breakthrough. The latest patent showcases display technology featuring a pixel circuit with a unique concave base layer design. It’s said to enhance capacitor integration for sharper, more efficient screens.
Here’s what the patent says:
The published patent showcases a display device that has a pixel circuit layer including a base layer and a pixel circuit disposed on the base layer, and a light-emitting element disposed on the base layer and electrically connected to the pixel circuit.

Pixel circuit retains a transistor and a storage capacitor including a first and second capacitor electrode, with the base layer including a concave portion. At least a portion of each of the first and second capacitor electrodes is disposed of in the concave portion.
Simply put, the display patent describes a new layout design that helps improve the overall performance and flexibility of the display device. As the patent took a year to be approved, we might hear more about it from Samsung during its display innovation summits.
