Galaxy S24 march 2024 update India

Samsung has once again impressed the world with its Galaxy S24 series, which has achieved remarkable sales records in various markets including North America and Korea. This series is expected to sell more than 10 million units globally within one month of its release.

Especially in Apple’s home market North America, the Galaxy S24 series has successfully sold over 3.2 million units in the first month, setting a new sales record for Samsung in the region. This is Samsung’s highest sales figure in North America since the Galaxy S7 series in 2016.

The Galaxy S24 series has also created a new record in South Korea, where it has sold more than 1 million units in just 28 days since its launch. This is the fastest sales record for any Samsung smartphone, surpassing the previous record of 37 days set by the Galaxy S8 series in 2017.

One of the main reasons for the popularity of the Galaxy S24 series is its innovative Galaxy AI feature, which enhances the user experience with various functions. Galaxy AI offers features such as Chat Assist, Live Translate, Interpreter, Circle to Search with Google, Note Assist, Browsing Assist, and Transcript Assist, and more.

One UI 6.1 volume panel issue to be resolved in next update

Samsung One UI 6.1 Volume Panel issue

Samsung acknowledges a current issue affecting the Sound Assistant‘s volume panel with One UI 6.1. Users expect a vertical volume panel that shows volumes for each app, similar to the models that haven’t received the One UI 6.1 model. This issue mainly affects the Galaxy S21 series after the One UI 6.1 update.

A Galaxy S21 Ultra user reported that the smartphone only offers a basic horizontal volume panel, lacking app-specific volume control. This function works well on Galaxy S10.

This problem seems to arise when users attempt to adjust the volume with the screen turned off. In such cases, the device defaults to the basic volume panel.

Samsung is aware of the Volume Panel issue after the One UI 6.1 update and promises to resolve it in future updates. The company apologizes for the inconvenience and assures users to improve their experience.

For a temporary solution, Samsung’s community moderator advises avoiding volume adjustment while the screen is off.

If the issue continues, users should report it by sending a log through the Samsung Members app’s ‘Send Error’ feature. This information will help Samsung in identifying and fixing the problem.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 to charge 50% faster at 15W speed

Published

Samsung Galaxy Watch 6

Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 series may support 15W fast charging speed. The Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic support 10W charging speed. It looks like the company is bringing a major upgrade to the next iteration of its Galaxy smartwatch in terms of charging speed.

FCC listing of Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 reveals 15W fast charging support. This upgrade will roughly increase the charging speed by 50% compared to the Galaxy Watch 6 series. However, the Watch FE (Watch 4 2024) would feature just 5W charging speed.

It has been revealed that the Galaxy Watch 7 (SM-L305) supports 15W (5V x 3A) fast charging. As the Galaxy Watch 6 takes about 90 minutes to charge from 0% to 100%, the Galaxy Watch 7 should be charged from 0% to 100% in about an hour.

Charging speed always remains a big concern in Samsung’s Mobile business. The company still sticks with 45W fast charging in flagship phones. At the same time, Chinese Android manufacturers have introduced much faster charging technologies.
