Samsung to bring Dual Messenger support to One Hand Operation in future updates
Several Samsung users have reported issues when trying to use the Dual Messenger feature alongside the One Hand Operation app. This issue is quite frustrating for those who want to use different accounts on apps. Users are looking for a solution that will allow them to switch between accounts easily.
The problem arises when users try to launch the Dual Messenger version of KakaoTalk using gestures on the Samsung One Hand Operation app. Instead of opening the KakaoTalk 2, the original KakaoTalk app (KakaoTalk 1) launched.
This means that no matter how users try to switch between the two versions like swiping left or right, they always end up with just the main version of the app.
In response to these concerns, a Samsung community moderator clarified the situation. He explained that the current One Hand Operation + app does not support running the Dual Messenger app, which is why users are having difficulty switching between the apps.
He also mentioned that the team is exploring the possibility of adding support for Dual Messenger in future updates of the One Hand Operation + app. However, a specific timeline for when this update will be available has not been provided yet.
Several users are expecting that future updates will make it easier to use both Dual Messenger and One Hand Operation together. With these improvements, they are looking forward to a better way to manage their messaging apps.

Samsung Galaxy S25, AI Vision top the agenda at TM Roh’s Town Hall meet
Samsung MX President TM Roh will hold a Town Hall meeting on October 23, with the meeting likely focused on the upcoming Galaxy S25 series and AI Vision. Officials will also explore strategies to enhance the Galaxy lineup’s competitiveness.
According to ETNews, Samsung Mobile President TM Roh will hold a town hall meeting with employees. The report states that the Samsung Galaxy S25 and AI Vision will top the agenda at the upcoming meeting.
The focus could be on presenting a blueprint for maintaining an edge in the smartphone market. There may also be fruitful discussions on responding to competitive pressures from companies like Apple and Xiaomi.
President Roh could discuss various important topics including ways to enhance the competitiveness of Galaxy phones. The official may also discuss the sales performance of the newly released foldables and the future of Galaxy AI.
Samsung will launch its next-generation Galaxy S flagships next year. Hence, chances are high that the upcoming Galaxy S25 series will top the agenda at President Roh’s address at the upcoming Town Hall meeting.
An industry insider commented, “While town hall meetings with executives are typically opportunities for communication between management and employees, given the current negative outlook in the smartphone business, it seems likely that a wide range of opinions, including criticism from employees, will be voiced.”
The Korean tech giant is eyeing continuous dominance in the global smartphone market. Amid increasing pressure from Apple and many Chinese brands, Samsung must shift gears to maintain dominance in the global market.
Apart from this, measures to prevent the recurrence of certain issues that have arisen with Galaxy products will likely be discussed. Earlier, we saw quality concerns with the new Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and Galaxy Watch series.
