One UI 6.1 makes it easier to access Samsung Care+

Samsung Care+ is a service that lets you insure your Samsung devices against accidental damage. It’s a smart way to protect your phone from unexpected accidents, especially when smartphones are as pricey as they are today.
If you have a Samsung device running One UI 6.1, you can now access Samsung Care+ more easily from the Settings app. You no longer need to use the Samsung Members app, which some users may have disabled due to its annoying ad notifications.

One UI 6.1 adds a new option in the About Phone menu that shows you your Samsung Care+ status. You can see when your coverage expires, or how many days you have left to sign up for a plan if you don’t have one yet. You can also tap on it to get more details or purchase a plan online.
This is a small but useful improvement that makes Samsung Care+ more convenient and accessible for Samsung users. It’s one of the many features and enhancements that One UI 6.1 brings to Galaxy devices.
Notably, One UI 6.1 is currently only available for the Galaxy S24 series, but it should roll out to older models soon.

Galaxy S24 users can now search settings with natural language in One UI 7

With the One UI 7 Beta 6 update, Samsung adds Natural Language Search to Settings on the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones. This feature is also available for the Galaxy S25 series, as well as for those testing One UI 7 on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.
The Natural Language Search feature on Galaxy S24 series allows you to use normal speech to search in Settings. For example, if you say, “My eyes are feeling tired,” the phone might suggest options like adjusting the brightness or turning on Eye Comfort Shield.
It’s an easy and convenient way to find settings without needing to type or remember exact words. This feature works in several languages, including Korean, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, and Portuguese.

One UI 7’s Audio Eraser feature now available on Galaxy S24, Z Flip 6, and Fold 6

Samsung has recently rolled out a new beta update for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 6. This new One UI 7 Beta update includes a cool new feature called Audio Eraser for these devices, which was first introduced with the Galaxy S25 series.
Audio Eraser is an AI-powered tool that helps you remove unwanted background noise from videos. It can separate different sounds in the video, so you can keep the important sounds while getting rid of distractions, like people talking in the background or noise. This makes it easier to make the main sounds of the video clearer.
Previously, the Audio Eraser feature was only available on the Galaxy S25 series. But now, it is available on the Galaxy S24 series with Beta 6, and on the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 with Beta 3 update.
If you’re testing the beta on any of these phones, you can try out this new feature. Here’s how to use it:
- Open the Samsung Gallery app on your phone.
- Tap on the “Galaxy AI” option.
- When you see the Audio Eraser pop-up, tap “OK” to start analyzing the sound.
- Once it’s ready, you’ll have different options to adjust and customize the sound however you want.
Audio Eraser is an amazing tool if you want to clean up noise from your videos and make them sound better. It’s now easier than ever to edit and improve your videos with Audio Eraser.
Galaxy S24, Z Flip 6, and Z Fold 6 users can now access Gemini AI via side button in One UI 7

Samsung Galaxy S24 gets Charging Animation revamp with One UI 7 Beta 6

Samsung is raising the bar of One UI 7 experiences even before the Stable rollout. The Galaxy S24 series has just received a brand new charging animation with the sixth One UI 7 Beta update.
One UI 7 Beta 6 installs an all-new charging animation on the Galaxy S24 series. The tweaked version has removed the background layer and turned the dynamic element even bigger.
The removal of the background overlay can be seen helping the remaining pill to animate smoothly. The size enlargement has also improved the visibility of the charging indicator on the S24 series.
Notably, the second Beta for Z6 series foldables first debuted this tweaked charging pill last week. This interactive element comes out of the battery percentage icon when you start charging.
It’s the second big change after the introduction of a charging animation in One UI 7. Samsung would now retain the latest version in the official software update scheduled to rollout next month.

Galaxy S24, Z Flip 6, and Z Fold 6 users can now access Gemini AI via side button in One UI 7

Samsung has recently released a new beta update for its Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 6. The new One UI 7 beta update added exciting new features, one of which is the ability to access Google’s Gemini AI assistant using the side button on these devices.
The Gemini AI side button access is already available on the Galaxy S25 series, and now, Samsung has expanded to more Galaxy devices. This new feature gives users more control over how they interact with their phone.
Before this update, these Samsung Galaxy phones only allowed users to activate Bixby by pressing and holding the side or power button. Now, with One UI 7, users can choose which digital assistant they want to use, including Google’s Gemini, Amazon Alexa, or even ChatGPT.
This feature makes it easier for people to use their preferred AI assistant with just a simple press of the side button. Currently, the feature is in the testing phase for these devices, and the stable update will make it available for all models.
To set up this new feature, go to Settings >> click on the Advanced features >> tap on the Side button option >> Long press. Then, tap the gear icon next to the “Digital Assistant” option. From there, you can choose Gemini or any other supported assistant like Alexa or ChatGPT.
This feature arrived on the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 with One UI 7 Beta 3, while the Galaxy S24 series received it with One UI 7 Beta 6. These updates also bring bug fixes and improvements.
With this update, Samsung is making it easier for users to personalize their devices. Whether you prefer Gemini or Bixby, the One UI 7 update adds more flexibility and convenience to your Galaxy device.
