Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series runs One UI 6.1 which is fueled with many AI features. Recently, Samsung revealed a hidden camera feature available in Galaxy S24 smartphones. The AI-powered Camera Shift feature in Galaxy Enhance-X is all magic, let’s dive into the details.

In a recent development, the camera in charge of Samsung Community Korea explained the newly introduced “Camera Shift” feature in Galaxy Enhance-X on the S24. It’s a special technology that can make your full-body photos look even more perfect, no matter how ordinary they are.

We all have times when we want to take full-body photos of ourselves like a model in a special place. Whenever that happens, you’ve probably asked your family or friends to hold the camera like this at least once. But now you can take perfect full-body photos without asking for such favors.

Thanks to the Camera Shift feature in Enhance-X, it automatically changes the camera position after shooting, making it look like you took the picture from a different location. This AI feature is currently available for the S24 series, but not exclusive for the lineup for long.

Have an S24 smartphone? Here’s how to use it:

First, go to Enhance-X and select a photo that contains a full-body photo. Then, tap “Camera Shift”.

Then, you can move the slide bar to see how the photo changes.

Rotate: This feature realizes the “Hold the camera upside down!” request. Tap the icon to turn the camera rotation effect on and off.

When On, the icon changes color and applies the effect.

Adjust camera height: This feature creates the “What if I sit down and shoot from below?” effect. Tap the icon to apply the effect of changing the shooting position in 3 steps.

  • Step 1: Lowest height -> Emphasizes lower body
  • Step 2: Middle height -> No emphasis, normal height
  • Step 3: Highest height -> Emphasizes upper body

Tilt Camera: You can do “Can you tilt the phone a little and shoot it?”.

Tap the tilt icon to make it look like you took the picture with your smartphone tilted in 10 steps. Unlike the tilt function in the editing function, the AI recognizes the person and minimizes background distortion in the result.

Display green line issue again plaguing Samsung Galaxy S21 phones

Samsung Galaxy S21 Green Line Display

Users of Samsung Galaxy S21 FE and S21 Ultra reporting the display green line issue following the software update. A few months back, many complaints surfaced on the web, citing the same problem due to the latest software installation only.

Now it looks like the display green line issue again haunting users of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series. A thin vertical green line appears on the screen without any external damage from the insertion of foreign material.

The green line issue is a hardware defect, which couldn’t be generated by software only. The problem occurs when because of a faulty display connector or flex cable. Internal elements could be damaged because of phone overheating due to software installation in Exynos phones.

In the past, we’ve seen many cases of the green line on display problem in Samsung phones. The company has also offered free screen replacement to select models, hence, there’s no other way to address it. Software glitches can be addressed by hard reset, but hardware defects can’t.

Since the connector and flex cable link the display to the phone’s main circuit board, the green or purple line could appear if any one of those components gets faulty. Apart from damage, looseness could also lead to display-related problems, including green vertical lines.

The problem appeared mostly on Exynos-powered Galaxy devices. The reason could be the overheating, which further extends while the phone installs a new firmware update. In the worst case, the surrounding atmosphere could also lead to damage to display-related components.
