Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 starts getting October 2023 security update
So far, several Samsung Galaxy devices including the flagships and the other mid-range devices have updated to the October 2023 security patch. Now, Samsung has started releasing the October 2023 update for the Galaxy Tab S8 series.
October 2023 security update for Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8 Plus, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra can be identified via the PDA version ending with BWI1. It is a gradual rollout so it may take some hours/days to reach all devices.
According to information, the October 2023 security patch fixes over 50 flaws including 2 critical and 32 high levels of common vulnerability exposures to improve system security. It improves several functions including Evaluator, Duo, Buffer Overflow in HDCP trustlet, system property, and more.
In addition to system security enhancement, this new software brings system stability improvements for increased device performance. If you want to check for the update manually, just head into the device Settings then tap on the Software update menu and go for the Download and Install option.

Also, Samsung is adding 23 of its fixes to improve security in My Files, Theme Center, One UI Home, Knox, and Dex.
