Samsung Galaxy S22 users in Brazil can now install the latest security update for October 2023 to enjoy enhanced security features. The update, which is already available in the US, will soon roll out to other regions as well.

October 2023 security update addresses over 40 security issues in the Android operating system, with severity levels ranging from critical to high. These issues are mainly related to Evaluator, Duo, Buffer Overflow in HDCP trustlet, system property, and more.
However, the update does not contain any new feature or change but it surely provides a better experience and performance. Users will have to download a 343.56MB package to install the update.
To get rid of bugs, install the update when you get the notification. Or go to Settings, Software Update, and Download and Install. Follow the on-screen instructions to update your Galaxy phone.

Samsung has pushed the October 2024 security update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones. This update is already out for users of the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24 series.
October 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series is currently available for users in Europe. The company plans to expand the update to more regions soon.
Users of Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra are getting the fresh update with One UI build version S901BXXSCEXI4, S906BXXSCEXI4, and S908BXXSCEXI4 respectively.
This latest update enhances system security and stability, ultimately improving overall app performance. It addresses several issues that users experienced with the previous version to ensure a smoother and more reliable device experience.
The October 2024 security patch resolves over 40 vulnerabilities, including 2 critical and 28 high-level Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) identified by Google. Additionally, Samsung has addressed 12 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items, focusing on issues related to system services, Knox services, and other critical things.

Samsung to launch new Gold colorway of Galaxy A35 or A55 in India
Samsung is teasing a new Gold colorway for the Galaxy A smartphone in India. The company could launch a new Gold color variant of the Galaxy A35 or A55. The teaser highlights splash-proof features and “awesome” branding.
The Korean tech giant launches different models in its Galaxy A series. The Awesome tag is usually used while promoting Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35. Therefore, chances are high that the Gold hue of the A35 or A55 could be announced.
The Galaxy A35 5G is currently available in Iceblue, Lilac, and Navy colors. Meanwhile, Samsung offers Iceblue and Navy colorways of the Galaxy A55 5G. We could see the new color’s announcement in the next few days.
As shown in the teaser video, the smartphone will feature Samsung’s Key Island design. The camera rings could be colored in Black to better differentiate from Gold. The rear panel and frame will feature a shiny Gold shade.
The company has also launched Galaxy A16 in some markets. It comes with six years of OS upgrade support. Key Island design is expanded to the A06 and A16, which was previously seen in expensive A series phones only.
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A phone will be powered by Exynos processor. It will run Android 14-based One UI 6.1 operating system. There will be a triple rear camera arrangement, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor.

Samsung Galaxy Ring launching soon in India, reservation begins
Samsung will soon launch Galaxy Ring in India, with pre-reservation live now. The company first announced the new kind of wearable in July this year. Since then, it has gradually expanded the market availability of the device.
Galaxy Ring was initially availed to the US and select European countries. Later, the wearable has debuted in markets like Australia, Brazil, and Mexico. Now, the Galaxy Ring is set to launch in a key market, India, with Samsung kicking off pre-reservation.
Samsung has published a Galaxy Ring landing page in India. Interested buyers should pre-reserve the Ring by paying INR 1999 in advance. As part of a promotion, you will be eligible for a complimentary Wireless Charger Duo, worth INR 4,999.
The company requires a pre-purchase payment for reserving consumers. It will be reduced from the product price when you pre-order after launch. If you decide not to purchase, the amount will be refunded to the same payment source.
The Galaxy Ring will be available through Samsung.com, Amazon and Flipkart. Authorized retail stores will also sell the latest wearable device. Pricing details will be made available once Samsung launches the Ring in India.
Samsung’s smart ring wearable could be available in there colors: Gold, Silver, and Black. It boasts a titanium-made body and features an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance as well as water resistance of up to 10 ATM.
The tiny gadget features an accelerometer, gyro, heart rate, and skin temperature sensor. It can be used for nearly 5 days on a single charge, while you can significantly extend the battery life by pairing it with a Galaxy phone and Watch.
