At the third ISUOG World Congress 2023, Samsung Medison will unveil an artificial intelligence (AI)-based diagnostic assistance solution. The company will showcase its advanced AI technology through exhibitions of premium ultrasound diagnostic devices ‘HERA W10 Elite’ and ‘V8’.

HERA W10 Elite is a premium ultrasound diagnostic device equipped with a 27-inch OLED monitor that has less brightness change depending on the viewing angle (compared to existing LCD) and a probe that provides excellent resolution, allowing high-contrast ultrasound images to be viewed from various angles.

HeartAssist, which automatically classifies the cross-sections necessary for fetal heart diagnosis and provides results when you press the measurement button, and ‘Uterine Assist’ (which helps diagnose uterine conditions by automatically measuring the size and shape of the uterus).

Through this event, Samsung Medison expanded the items previously measured only for fetuses in the second quarter (weeks 14 to 27) to the first quarter (weeks 1 to 13) to provide fetal growth indicators.

US Galaxy Z Flip 6 w/ Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 scores fiery performance

Benchmark listing confirms Samsung will fuel the US Galaxy Z Flip 6 with a Snapdragon chipset. The device has benchmarked on Geekbench, scoring sizing points in single-core and multi-core tests. Interestingly, the Flip phone features 12GB of RAM, which is a big upgrade.

As spotted by CID/X, the US variant of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will feature up to 12GB RAM and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor. While the listing doesn’t mention the phone’s marketing name, Samsung’s modeling strategy says SM-F741U is the Galaxy Z Flip 6.

Earlier, the same product surfaced on Geekbench’s graphics processing unit test. The device reached the same performance as the Galaxy S24 Ultra despite lacking such larger cooling tech. As far as the CPU performance is concerned, the Z Flip 6 scored:

  • 1794 in single-core
  • 4486 in multi-core

Samsung is expected to hold its next Unpacked event in Paris right before the 2024 Olympics kicks off. The tentative date is July 10, when the company will introduce Galaxy Z Flip 6, Z Fold 6, and Z Fold 6 Ultra. More products including the Watch 7 series and Galaxy Ring are expected.

As the company still has around two months to unveil, there will be further performance improvements. Global consumers might be disappointed as the Exynos is expected to power some units. It might harm some sales but Samsung has to do it to maintain the cost-cutting.

One UI 7 Beta Program: Gear up for the future of Galaxy (August 2024!)

Published

on

Samsung Galaxy S24

Android 15 entered the Public Beta testing phase on Pixel devices. Samsung will also adopt Android 15 for Galaxy devices, which will be available with One UI 7 later this year. Like all software development, Samsung’s One UI 7 will also launch a Beta Program.

One UI 7 Beta Program

Flagship Samsung devices will get early access to Android 15-based One UI 7 through the Beta Program. However, the Beta Program could be available in only 7 countries including the US. Mid-range and budget phones will start getting the major update around November this year.

One UI 7 Beta: When it’s coming?

Samsung is expected to launch its One UI 7 Beta in August this year. Android 15 Beta will expand to several Android flagships from different manufacturers by I/O 2024. However, the Galaxy maker won’t participate in Android’s native Beta activity.

As per Google’s roadmap, Android 15 Beta released in April, and Beta 2 will release in May followed by Beta 3 with Platform Stability in June and Beta 4 in July. Google Pixel phones are expected to get Stable Android 15 in late October this year.

One UI 7 Beta: Is your Galaxy eligible?

The Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra will receive One UI 7 Beta in the first phase. Later on, older flagships like Galaxy S23 and S22 series would join the party along with upcoming + current foldable phones. Some mid-rangers like Galaxy A55 and A35 could also be able to join Beta.

Beta Program is for a limited number of models, but Samsung conducts upgrade deployment on the largest scale internationally. This would begin around November, probably after Samsung holds this year’s Developer Conference event in October.
