Samsung rolls out new update for Galaxy F23 5G smartphone [733MB]
Samsung Galaxy F23 5G smartphone is getting a new software update that brings improvements and enhancements to the device. The update is rolling out to users in India and the company will soon make it available for all F23 models.
The security of the device has been improved with the August 2023 security patch level, which fixes various vulnerabilities and bugs. The update also improves the performance and stability of the device, as well as fixes some minor issues and errors.
Moreover, several Samsung apps have been updated to the latest version, such as Samsung Notes, Samsung Internet, Samsung Health, Samsung Members, and more.
The latest firmware version of the Samsung Galaxy F23 smartphone is E236BXXU4ACWI1 and the update has a size of 733.59 MB. It is advised to use a stable Wi-Fi connection and a fully charged battery to download and install it. To check for the update manually, users can go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

The fresh update brings fixes for some issues that users encountered in previous versions to make your Galaxy S23 more stable and secure. The installation package size of this update is around 400MB.
October 2024 security update brings important fixes from both Google and Samsung, addressing vulnerabilities in the Android operating system and Samsung’s software. Google fixes 2 critical and 28 high-level issues, with 1 previously resolved and 2 not affecting Galaxy devices.
On the other side, Samsung resolves 12 specific vulnerabilities related to system services and Knox security. Additionally, Samsung Semiconductor has enhanced performance with a fix for 1 high-level issue.
The update is currently available for locked models and the company will expand it soon to unlocked ones. It is a gradual rollout so it may take some hours or days to reach all models.

With this feature, you can customize details like damping, stiffness, and friction for how icons move and scale. Users can also customize where icons track, and there’s an Interpolator option to tweak how the icon scale animations work. This means you can make the animations your own.
In addition to this, the Advanced tuning also includes options for scale, duration, and blur settings for the Home screen and Wallpaper.
Large Folder
Another noteworthy feature is the introduction of the large folder option. You can now choose between medium and large sizes for your app folders while keeping the size of existing large folders the same.
This gives you more control over how your home screen looks and helps you organize your apps better. You can also adjust the folder grid and change the icon sizes, adding to your personalization options.
Pop-Up Folder
The update also enhances the pop-up folder functionality. Users can now customize the size of pop-up folders with options for small, medium, and large. Additional settings allow for variable sizes, fixed positions, and even options to hide the edit bar and remove blur effects.
