Samsung will fix a frustrating dynamic wallpaper app issue in One UI 8

Samsung phones offer several cool features, and one popular option is the Good Lock‘s Wonderland suite. This module lets users add animated and dynamic wallpapers to their phone to make the screen look fun and lively. Now, the company has confirmed to enhance this dynamic wallpaper app’s functions with One UI 8.
Many Samsung users enjoy customizing their devices with Good Lock modules. But recently, some users have run into an issue with Wonderland. After restarting their device, the dynamic wallpapers don’t always show up properly.
The issue has caused frustration for people who want their phones to look perfect every time they use them. This issue is currently spotted on foldable devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
What’s the issue?
The issue happens when the phone restarts while using either the cover screen or the main screen. If the phone restarts on the cover screen, the wallpaper may not apply to the main screen. The same problem occurs in reverse, making the experience inconsistent and annoying.
It shows that the dynamic wallpapers don’t sync well between the two screens. It leaves one of them without the custom look users expect. It’s a small bug, but it can be annoying for users.
Samsung Official Confirmation
Samsung’s Good Lock support team has replied to the reports from users. The community moderator confirmed that the company is aware of the Samsung Wonderland issue and is also working on a fix.
The fix for the dynamic wallpaper app issue will come with the next OS update, One UI 8. Since this requires a software update, users will have to wait until One UI 8 rolls out to get the improvements.

If you use a foldable Samsung phone and have noticed this wallpaper issue, don’t worry. One UI 8 is on the way, and it will make sure Wonderland works smoothly on both screens. Currently, the Galaxy S25 series users can test One UI 8 features, and Samsung is going to release a stable update soon with the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Stay tuned.
