The source says that a 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP7 camera was initially planned for Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, Samsung may equip the Galaxy S26 Ultra with a 320-megapixel sensor, skipping the upgrade to the 2025’s Ultra.

Sequential upgrades to Galaxy smartphones will surely be introduced by Samsung. However, it’s quite early to discuss on a device, which could go official in early 2026. Do take this rumor as a grain of salt.

Samsung Galaxy A26 Render Design

Samsung Galaxy A26 may feature the Galaxy A36-like brand-new camera design. The phone’s first look has now been revealed in the first set of CAD renders, courtesy of Onleaks via AndroidHeadlines.

The phone could be flat on the front and rear sides. Samsung could apply a revamped camera design on the Galaxy A26, featuring a Z Fold 6-like camera island. The Key Island is expanding to lower-end Galaxy A models for a unique identity.

Samsung is sticking to the outdated display approach with a waterdrop notch at the top. The Galaxy A35 5G upgraded with a modern punch-hole display last year. However, the A26 continues to sport the waterdrop notch display, for another year.

Notably, the bottom bezel is considerably thicker than the rest sides. The rear panel carries three cameras at the top-left corner which are aligned vertically. The new Key Island is there on the volume rockers and power key.

The Galaxy A26 could measure 164 x 77.5 x 7.7mm (9.7mm including the camera bump). That said, the display could be 6.64 inches (in diagonal) and we expect it to be a Super AMOLED panel with at least a 90Hz refresh rate.

Samsung will likely stick to a plastic frame and a plastic backplate. The SIM tray will be accessible from the top-left side of the frame. The bottom side will have a Type-C port for charging, a primary microphone, and a speaker grille.

Leak: Samsung Galaxy S25 family to only feature Snapdragon 8 Elite

Samsung Galaxy S25 Series Exynos

Exynos era is seemingly over as Samsung Galaxy S25 family is all set to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The company’s Foundry division is facing 3nm yield issues, which is still less than 20% as compared to above 80% of TSMC.

Samsung insider IceUniverse repeated that the Galaxy S25 series will use Snapdragon 8 Elite globally. Local Samsung units in Asia, Europe, and Africa will also ship the next flagships featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

China, Canada, and the US always get Snapdragon-powered Galaxy flagships. Snapdragon exclusivity is pleasing news for consumers, but not for Samsung. Due to a lack of Exynos, the company may face issues with cost management.

Samsung faced massive criticism over the heat concerns in Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. That led the company to go all Snapdragon in the Galaxy S23 series, canceling the debut of the follow-up processor – Exynos 2300.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra adopted Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 internationally. However, there is chip variation in the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus variants. Meanwhile, the next-gen Galaxy S is almost confirmed to use the Snapdragon processor in all markets.

Snapdragon 8 Elite

Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon chip comes with the second generation custom-built Oryon CPU, Adreno GPU, and enhanced Qualcomm Hexagon NPU. These cutting-edge innovations deliver game-changing performance improvements.

  • The mobile industry’s largest shared cache delivers insanely fast data retrieval.
  • Delivers up to 27% in overall power savings, extending your gaming time by up to 2.5 hours.

The chipset adopts a 64-bit architecture, featuring two prime cores clocked at up to 4.32 GHz and performance cores up to 3.53 GHz. It’s made using TSMC’s 3nm process node, offering size reduction, performance improvements, and enhanced efficiency.
