Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra clears NBTC certification
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra has recently cleared the NBTC certification alongside the vanilla Tab S9 tablet. Unlike FCC and 3C, the NBTC certificate doesn’t reveal any details about the approved products, but we are already familiar with most of the specs.
The company is expected to introduce a number of new premium devices on July 26 in South Korea. There will be the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Watch 6 series along with the Galaxy Tab S9 series tablets. On August 11, Samsung may hold a separate event in the United States and Canada.

As per the reports, the Tab S9 Ultra could come with a 14.6-inch AMOLED display with a 2,960 x 1,848 pixels resolution. All three tablets will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, while the Ultra could be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage.

Samsung is expanding the October 2024 security update for the Galaxy S23 series in Europe and India. This update improves the overall performance of the device by fixing several issues.
Users of Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra can verify the update via One UI builds S911BXXS6CXI4, S916BXXS6CXI4, and S918BXXS6CXI4 respectively.

Samsung has begun releasing the October 2024 security update for Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones. The update is rolling out in the US and the company will soon make it available in more countries.
Users of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series are getting the October 2024 security update in the US through One UI builds given below.
- Galaxy S23 – S911USQS4CXI4
- Galaxy S23 Plus – S916USQS4CXI4
- Galaxy S23 Ultra – S918USQS4CXI4
The fresh update brings fixes for some issues that users encountered in previous versions to make your Galaxy S23 more stable and secure. The installation package size of this update is around 400MB.
October 2024 security update brings important fixes from both Google and Samsung, addressing vulnerabilities in the Android operating system and Samsung’s software. Google fixes 2 critical and 28 high-level issues, with 1 previously resolved and 2 not affecting Galaxy devices.
On the other side, Samsung resolves 12 specific vulnerabilities related to system services and Knox security. Additionally, Samsung Semiconductor has enhanced performance with a fix for 1 high-level issue.
The update is currently available for locked models and the company will expand it soon to unlocked ones. It is a gradual rollout so it may take some hours or days to reach all models.

Samsung Care Plus re-enrollment starts for your Galaxy S24 series, Z Flip 6 and more
Samsung Care Plus allows you to insure your Galaxy smartphone from unnecessary repair burdens. You can either attach Care Plus while buying a new Galaxy from Samsung or purchase it within 60 days of successful activation.
If you have missed both opportunities, there’s good news for you. Samsung is allowing you to enroll for the Care Plus for your Galaxy device. The company is offering extended open enrollment through November 24 for eligible devices.
Even if you’ve missed the 60-day timeline, you can still insure your Galaxy with Samusng Care Plus. It’s a paid subscription offered by Samsung that saves you big in case of out-of-warranty repairs due to accidental damages.
Think your phone is under warranty but got damaged by water insertion. If you have a Care Plus subscription, you will only need to pay a minimal claim fee. Other charges will be considered by Samsung for providing authorized repair.
Samsung Care Plus subscription is good for devices like the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6. It isn’t exclusive to flagship models, you can even ensure budget phones such as the Galaxy A25 and Galaxy A15.
Opting for eligible models would also allow you to get Theft and Loss for 20% off the normal rate. AndroidAuthority reports the flagships count as “tier 4” devices under how Samsung prices its plan, and 24 months of coverage will normally run you $349.
