Major June 2023 update releasing for Samsung Galaxy Tab S8

Samsung has started rolling out a big-size update with June 2023 security patch for its flagship tablet series – the Galaxy Tab S8. The latest update improves the performance, security, and stability of the device.
June 2023 security update for Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8 Plus, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra can be identified through the One UI build version ending with BWE8. The main part is that this latest software comes with a huge size of installation package of 1764.77 MB.
As the updated package size is huge compared to regular updates, the new firmware definitely brings new features and improvements. However, nothing else is mentioned in the changelog apart from security fixes.
Samsung’s June 2023 security update mends over 50 flaws that were affecting the users’ privacy and security. These include 3 critical, and 47 high-level of common vulnerability exposure related to CC Mode, Exynos, and Knox ID.
Right now, the update is rolling out for locked Galaxy Tab S8 models in the US and unlocked models will soon get it. This update is being rolled out over the air (OTA) and should reach all Galaxy Tab S8 users in the coming days.

These Samsung Galaxy devices received One UI 7 (Android 15) update

Samsung is rolling out the One UI 7 update to several Galaxy devices. Owners of Samsung’s flagship phones, foldables, and tablets have received the update in several markets, while select Galaxy A phones have also joined the party.
Android 15-based One UI 7 introduces a brand new interface. The Quick Settings and Notification Panel are redesigned to offer a fresh feel. Icons are modern and dynamically colored, while shapes are unified to offer a unified look.
Now Bar is available across the entire Galaxy lineup, while the lock screen placement differs. The position of the in-screen fingerprint area is the key factor behind alignment, while it’s at the middle of the screen on non-premium devices.
Samsung devices getting the One UI 7 update gain new features and UI changes as per their hardware specifications. The company has tried to expand features as much as it can, but the availability is not universal.

May 2025 security update hitting Galaxy Z Flip 6, Fold 6 in the US

Following Korea and India, Samsung has kicked off the May 2025 security update for Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 smartphones in the US. The update is out for unlocked models, and carrier-locked models could soon get this update.
May 2025 security update for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphones in the US can be identified via One UI build versions F956U1UES2BYE3 and F741U1UES2BYE3, respectively. The installation package size is around 480MB.
This new security update is based on Android 15, and the company has already started testing the One UI 8 build internally. One UI 8 will bring several enhancements and features for Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6, one of which could be Selfie Video Log.

US Samsung Galaxy S24 series gets May 2025 One UI 7 update

Samsung Galaxy A35 picks up One UI 7 (Android 15) update in Middle East

Samsung is expanding the One UI 7 update based on Android 15 for the Galaxy A35 smartphone in the Middle East. This update is already live in Europe and Korea, and is now available in Middle Eastern countries, including the UAE.
One UI 7 update brings several much-awaited changes, including a vertical scrolling app drawer, redesigned icons, better widget customization options, larger home screen folders, and a new user interface.
Additionally, the update brings new designs for various apps, which further improve the overall look and feel of the system. It also installs the April 2025 security patch to improve system security and stability.

More Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6 users get May 2025 security update

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 smartphones have already received the One UI 7-based May 2025 security update in Korea, and the company is now expanding it to more Asian countries, including India. This is the first software update for these foldable models after the One UI 7 update in India.
The new update installs the latest Android security patch to improve system security and stability. It also makes these devices work smoother on One UI 7 by fixing issues.
May 2025 security update for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 can be identified via One UI build versions F741BXXS2BYDF and F956BXXS2BYDF, respectively. Users will have to download around 400MB package to install the update.
The fresh update is based on Android 15, and Samsung has already started internal testing the One UI 8 build based on Android 16 on Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6.
The latest security patch brings important fixes to improve the safety of Galaxy devices. The update addresses 58 high-level security issues found by Google that affect all Android phones. In addition, Samsung fixed 20 more problems specific to Galaxy devices, including 13 that were explained in detail. These focus on One UI to make Galaxy phones more secure.
