Samsung LockStar 5.0.00.15 update fixes GTS issues
Samsung LockStar Good Lock module received SmartSwitch backup and restore support in March 2023. Now, Samsung is releasing a May 2023 update for the LockStar app with version 5.0.00.15.
The new update brings bug fixes to amplify the performance of this app. It fixes issues related to LockStar functions sharing through Galaxy To Share (GTS). The GTS is also a good lock module that allows users to share Good Lock settings across Galaxy devices.
Although the company has not given much detail related to the GTS error in the changelog, after this update, you can get a better sharing experience.
Moreover, the update also brings common improvements to deliver an amazing user experience. However, the update does not include any new features or changes.
Identified via version 5.0.00.15, the new update of Samsung LockStar is compatible with Galaxy devices running Android 13-based One UI 5.1 or One UI 5.0 only. Users will have to download a 61.57 MB package to install this update.

The new version is rolling out gradually so it will soon reach all eligible devices. You can install the update, just open the Galaxy Store app >> Menu option >> Updates. To install the update press on the refresh icon present next to the name of the LockStar app.

Google is testing a new way to share and forward texts and chats from Messages for Android that is a Conversation Picker feature. Instead of a pop-up window, you will see a full-screen page where you can choose who to send the message to.
Users can search for a contact or choose one from the list of recent conversations. In addition, they can view the last message in each conversation to help them make a decision as well as select multiple recipients and tap Next to proceed to the chat screen.
The new page also shows all your contacts below the recent conversations. However, it does not show their phone numbers, which might be confusing if users have multiple entries for the same person.
This new feature is not widely available yet, even in the beta version of Google Messages. It might be a server-side switch that Google is testing with a small group of users. It is not clear when it will be rolled out to everyone.
