Samsung started rolling out the April 2023 security patch in late March 2023 and so far the company has updated a bunch of Galaxy devices to the latest update. Now, the company is expanding April 2023 security update to Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy A52 4G, and Galaxy A32 4G phones in more countries.

For your Galaxy device, Samsung has included fixes for five critical, 46 high, and one moderate level of CVEs with the April 2023 security patch. In addition, the new firmware improves the system security and stability of the devices as well as enhances performance to deliver a better Galaxy experience.

Moreover, the update optimizes system stability to offer you uninterrupted and seamless functionality on your device. It is a regular update so it does not contain any new features or changes.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Plus can identify the July 2024 security update through One UI build version X818USQS4BXG5 in the US. The installation package size of this update is around 350MB.

It is an initial rollout so it may take hours or days to reach all models. Samsung advised you to install the update if you have received it on your Galaxy device to enjoy enhanced features.
