Samsung recently started releasing April 2023 security update for the Galaxy S21 series. Like the Galaxy S22 series, the smartphones of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series are also getting the Galaxy S23 Image Clipper feature through the April month patch.
Back in February 2023, the company presented the Image Clipper feature with Samsung Galaxy S23 smartphones, and now the company is making it available for more Galaxy devices as promised.
Users of Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphones can now extract a particular object or thing from the image and use it as they want.

Image Clipper is a Gallery feature that allows users to extract an object or thing from a photo to share it as a separate object of the image by saving it. It crops the selected part of the photo so that you can share it or paste it into another image with a completely different background.

How to use Image Clipper on Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphones?
You can easily use the Image Clipper feature on your Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphone. For that, open an image from the Samsung Gallery app, then long press on the object to drag the object from the image. Now, an object is extracted from the image and you can c share it on a transparent background.
You can also save the image to your device, or share it directly with other apps. In addition to images, you can also do the same with videos, just make sure to pause the stream before extracting.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series are getting the October 2024 security update in the US through One UI builds given below.
- Galaxy S23 – S911USQS4CXI4
- Galaxy S23 Plus – S916USQS4CXI4
- Galaxy S23 Ultra – S918USQS4CXI4
The fresh update brings fixes for some issues that users encountered in previous versions to make your Galaxy S23 more stable and secure. The installation package size of this update is around 400MB.
October 2024 security update brings important fixes from both Google and Samsung, addressing vulnerabilities in the Android operating system and Samsung’s software. Google fixes 2 critical and 28 high-level issues, with 1 previously resolved and 2 not affecting Galaxy devices.
