Samsung has started releasing the first update after Android 13 for Galaxy A72 users, which installs January 2023 Android patch to improve system security and stability.

Users of Galaxy A72 smartphones can identify the latest update through One UI build version A725FXXU4CWA2. Currently, the January 2023 update is rolling out for International variants of Samsung Galaxy A72 and the company will expand it to more regions soon.

As per Samsung’s security patch details, the January 2023 patch update for Galaxy A72 includes fixes for more than 70 vulnerabilities, which includes 52 high leveled CVEs from Google and about 20 SVEs from the phone vendor.
To update your Galaxy A72 smartphone to the latest software version, you have to open your device’s system Settings, then scroll down until the option entitled Software update. Tap it then the user interface will show you another tab namely Download and install.
Besides this, Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy S23 series smartphone on February 01, 2023, at the Galaxy Unpacked event. The next S series smartphone will be introduced with a new One UI version that is One UI 5.1. To be mentioned, the Samsung Galaxy A72 smartphone is also eligible to receive this major One UI version update.
