After the flagship Galaxy S23 series in February, Samsung will launch its mid-range A-series phones including the Galaxy A54, next year. We have heard a lot about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A54 smartphone and now it visits the Geekbench database.

Spotted by MySmartPrice, the Geekbench listing reveals some important details about the phone. As per the new information, the Galaxy A54 smartphone, which carries model number SM-A546B, will come with Exynos 1380 mobile platform.

Samsung is yet to launch the Exynos 1380 processor. It is expected to bring at least two ARM Cortex-A series high-performance CPU cores and the Mali-series GPU for faster performance compared to the Exynos 1280. It is also likely to equip a fully integrated 5G modem with support for mmWave and sub-6GHz connectivity.

Samsung Galaxy A54 Geekbench

Other than the processor, the Samsung Galaxy A54 Geekbench listing further shows off the single-core and multi-core test results. The report says that the device has managed to score 776 points in the single-core round of the Geekbench 5 test. Whereas, in the multi-core round, the score was recorded as 2599 points.

The tech industry is now waiting for Samsung to release its next generation foldable phones. While the Galaxy Z5 launch is still away, we are hearing more and more about the next-gen Galaxy S flagships. New rumor claims Samsung has canceled the variable zoom camera on Galaxy S24 Ultra.

According a new rumor, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra may get the same quad camera setup as the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The company’s plan to install a new varible zoom camera on the Galaxy S24 Ultra has been terminated, resulting in the same design on the rear panel.

Since the Galaxy S20 Ultra, Samsung has been maintainging the quad camera installation on Galaxy S Ultra smartphones. The S20 Ultra, S21 Ultra, S22 Ultra and the recently released S23 Ultra all equipped with quad camera system.

Earlier, the same source revealed that the South Korean tech giant is considering ditching a 3x telephoto camera in favor of new variable zoom lens. The Galaxy S23 Ultra has already broght a serious upgrade to 200-megapixel lens, therefore, the next yera’s model may remain untouched.

According to the tipster, the display crease of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 looks the same as the Galaxy Z Fold 4. It was reported that the next foldable phone will be equipped with a new droplet hinge design to vanish the crease visibility.

Meanwhile, the “100% confirmed” leak points out it’s not changing this year. However, there is a probability of changes in the real product as the company is reportedly testing the durability of the device after applying the new hinge alongside the existing U-shaped hinge.

Various Chinese phone makers adopted the waterdrop hinge technology. Oppo’s Find N2 is a smartphone with the least visible crease in the industry as per the feedback of reviewers. However, durability always remains in priority as the foldable form factor is yet to mature.

Samsung insider IceUniverse revealed that the company has developed a 2x Portrait Mode for the Galaxy S23 Ultra. This mode pictures at 50-megapixel using the main 200-megapixel HP2 image sensor of the smartphone. It will benefit users who love taking portrait shots with depth effects.

HDR vignetting is another severe problem, which often appears on select Galaxy S23 series units, which could be fixed with the next OTA. Meanwhile, the tipster has not directly claimed fixes for bananagate and photo blur-related issues on the Galaxy S23 and S23 Ultra.

In a recent development, the same source revealed yet another change, which is included in the June firmware. The company will be bringing updates to the video calling function as part of quality improvements for using third-party apps like WhatsApp and Telegram.
