Samsung yesterday announced that it has stopped the rollout of that Galaxy Watch 4 firmware update, which reportedly makes it unusable. At the same time, the company promised that a new build will be released soon. Now, Samsung is reportedly starting a new Galaxy Watch 4 update rollout with version VK4.
According to the information, Samsung is rolling out a new firmware update with version number ending VK4 for the Galaxy Watch 4 Bluetooth variants. The company is releasing the new software to a limited number of users in order to assure the stability and reliability of this new build.
As mentioned in the screenshot, the Galaxy Watch 4’s VK4 firmware update improves the power-off functionality, which was disturbed following the halted build – V13. Since the rollout is happening gradually, users who received it can download and install it on their smartwatch through the Galaxy Wearable app.
In case you’ve installed the earlier firmware update on your Galaxy Watch 4 and it got turned off due to battery discharge, sadly, you need to visit a nearby Samsung Service center to get the watch fixed. Well, we recommend users don’t let their Galaxy Watch 4 discharge even after installation of the new update.
