Samsung Galaxy S20 March 2024 update

Today, Samsung started the August 2022 security update rollout and seems like it wants to just make Google jealous with its software deployment. After Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 series, the Galaxy S20 series is the latest choice of Samsung to bring the August 2022 security update.

User from Europe confirmed that Samsung is releasing the August 2022 update to the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra units via PDA build versions: G981BXXUEFVG5/G980FXXUEFVG5, G986BXXUEFVG5/G985FXXUEFVG5 and G988BXXUEFVG5, respectively.

The Galaxy S20 series is also eligible for the upcoming major Android 13 software upgrade, however, Samsung might keep the consumers satisfied with one more security update after this dated August 2022. We are guessing the Galaxy S20 might join the One UI 5 Beta within two months.

Well, it’s talk of the future we can do here. However, there’s nothing new to discuss regarding the Galaxy S20 August 2022 OTA update as it brings just system security and stability improvements. One more thing, the company hasn’t yet shared the details of its latest security booster update, meanwhile, it could go live next week.
