Samsung has begun rolling out a new software update for the Galaxy A02 smartphone users that brings the July 2022 Android security patch. It mainly improves system security and stability in order to maintain the users’ experience.
On the other hand, Samsung recently released the July 2022 security patch details that mention fixes for various privacy and security-related exploits and issues. These include 41 CVE and SVE items from Google and Samsung.
The details further note that these vulnerabilities are related to the Messages app, Knoxguard lock, Wearable Manager Installer, Samsung Finder, Contacts storage, and others.
Besides these, the update changelog doesn’t reveal any new features or major changes. However, in the coming few weeks, the company will roll out the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update for the device owners which will bring a lot of new features, changes, improvements, and personalization options.
Samsung Galaxy A02 users are getting the July 2022 security patch update that carries the One UI build version A022MUBS3BVF1. At this time, the update is live in Brazilian markets, however, it will reach to more users shortly.

To check and download the new update on your Galaxy device, head over to its Settings. From here, tap on Software update followed by the Download and install option. Wait for the device to check available updates and hit the download button. Finally, install the update and reboot your phone.
