Samsung June 2022 Updates

On May 23, Samsung initiated the June 2022 Android security patch updated to its eligible devices. Starting with the Galaxy Tab S7 series the update has reached a bunch of Galaxy devices and will spread to more users in the coming time.

As per the information, the Samsung June 2022 security patch comes with fixes for 66 privacy and security-related issues and exploits. These vulnerabilities include fixes for 5 Critical, 39 High, and 1 Moderate level of CVEs from Samsung and Google which are related to SIM card data access, camera access, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Samsung account, and others.

Despite these, Samsung has also released the contents of this new security patch as well as a revised software update distribution plan. The company has various smartphone lineups that offer different software support, such as monthly, quarterly, and biannual.

July 2024 update fixes over 55 issues including 4 critical and 21 high-level vulnerabilities in Android, contributing 33 SVEs related to components like One UI Home, System UI, Secure Folder, and more, further enhancing device security.

In Brazil, the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone is getting the latest security update with version S711BXXS4CXF8 and an installation package size of 264MB. This update is already rolled out for users in India.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE smartphones can verify the July 2024 security update through PDA version G990EXXSAFXG3. They have to download a 276MB package to install the update. The update is live in India, Europe, and the US.
