How to enable Samsung One UI 4.1 hidden menu
Samsung’s One UI 4.1 is arguably one of the best Android skins present on the market. The company provides the finest user interface and customization options to offer a more seamless and connected experience to the users.
Despite the big feature that arrived with One UI 4.1 including Color Palette, Smart Widgets, RAM Plus, Extra Dim Mode, Smart Calendar, and others, Samsung has many more features that haven’t got much popularity but are really useful.

There are many old One UI features that the company has improved with One UI 4.1, hidden menu is one of them. Samsung’s hidden menu is providing its services for years, however, the feature has seen some modification with the latest One UI.

When enabled, you will get an all-new window on the screen which have some shortcuts. You can choose these shortcuts according to your preferences. These are the shortcuts that you will not see on your phone’s Quick Panel but you will find them helpful.
For instance, the Mute all sounds option. When you tap on this, your system sound will be muted. Even when you press the volume button up and down, it stays locked. And when you turn it off, you can access the volume again.
Another useful feature is Magnification. You can zoom in to any particular area of your phone with just a tap. You can also on/off the color inversion, access color adjustment, add color filters, amplify ambient sound, and many more from this hidden menu.
Besides just selecting what features you want on the hidden menu, you can also choose whether you want to open this menu from the navigation bar or you want a floating window over apps. You can also customize the floating window with different sizes, transparency, and others.

- Launch the Settings app on your phone.
- Scroll down and enter Accessibility.
- Now go to Advanced settings.
- Tap the Accessibility button.
- Tap Select actions.
- Here you can select which features you want on the hidden menu.
- You can choose the location for the hidden menu.

- Floating over other apps
- From Floating button settings:
- Select size between Small, Medium, and Large.
- Enable Fade when not in use.
- Select Transparency level.

Secure Folder can keep your most private data such as calendar schedules and contact info, as well as notes, photos, videos, files, and even apps. You can even encrypt the Secure Folder to keep your apps and data even more locked down until the next time you open the folder.
You can find Secure Folder in your apps.
The first time you open it, you’ll have to set your lock type to either a PIN, pattern, or password, with fingerprint authentication can be enabled as well. Anything you create within the Secure Folder will be automatically stored here, but you can also move data here at any time.
For instance, if you want to keep a copy of your driver’s license, you can take a photo of it using the Camera app within Secure Folder, or you can pick a photo in your Gallery, tap the options menu (the three dots) and then select ‘Move to Secure Folder.’

How to use the Motion Photo feature?
- Launch the Camera app
- Enable the Motion Photo feature by tapping on its icon.
- Click the shutter button as usual to take a photo
- Visit the Gallery and select your photo that has been successfully taken.
- Tap ‘View Motion Photo’ to explore the frames.
- Choose the best image in Motion Photo and apply ‘Quick Crop’.

The Intelligent Optimization feature allows users to adjust how their photos are processed. Whether capturing everyday moments or professional shots, the Intelligent Optimization feature in One UI 6.1 ensures that your photos meet your standards with minimal effort.
How to activate it?
You can easily enable the Intelligent Optimization feature by following the steps below.
- Open the Camera app, then Settings.
- Tap on Intelligent Optimization.
- Choose the desired optimization level
- Maximum
- Medium: Speed up capture time by doing less optimization
- Minimum: Take pictures as fast as possible by not optimizing pictures after they are taken.
- Optionally, enable or disable the Scene Optimizer.
This feature allows for customization of photo attributes such as sharpness, contrast, and brightness. For example, selecting the minimum level results in more natural-looking images, while the maximum level increases detail and sharpness, which is ideal for zoomed-in shots. Notably, the quality optimization setting of these levels only affects Photo Mode.
If you enable Scene Optimizer, it automatically optimizes the color and contrast of pictures to make dark scenes look brighter, food looks tastier and landscapes look more vivid.
