The failure that changed Samsung’s way of thinking forever!
At present Samsung is the top vendor in the world that has increased its smartphone market share by 24% in the first quarter of 2022. Apple has come in second place with 18% of the market share, while Xiaomi reached position three with 13 percent of the market share.
Let me take you back to 2016 when Samsung has done the biggest mistake of its life and this started with the launch of its Galaxy Note 7. The smartphone model has gathered an impressive fanfare and has created many winning combinations.

The smartphone has a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display, solid design, and stunning performance along with S-Pen. It is considered to be the best smartphone of the year 2016.
On the other hand, at the same time, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 became one of the most controversial releases of all time, and the introduction of this smartphone made it the most infamous phone of all time.
We are the witness to the issue that had arisen with the lithium-ion battery. This was Samsung’s utter failure of all times and was surprisingly amazing that if the smartphone dropped the battery gets damaged. Which after falling become prone to combusting or catching fire.
We all know Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was launched on August 19, 2016, Which became an instant hit for the company. As the device reached into the user’s hand we started getting the news of a sudden phone explosion and this problem became deeper at that time.
Numerous reports came in front of us and emerged around the globe. Samsung announced the voluntary recall of the 2.5 million Note 7 smartphones that started selling roughly two weeks ago at that time.
Samsung had to offer refunds or replacements of the device. Along with this U.S, Consumer and Product Safety Commission called the wide announcement for the emergency recall.
Later Samsung decided to stop selling the phone model and issue replacement devices. The inquiry was in progress, and the company want to reach the root cause of the device combusting or catching fire.
The company decided to do the shipment in two ways, one with the fresh battery and another one with a replaced battery. At last, they found that the whole lot of batteries which they were sourcing from the certain company was faulty.
At last, they came to know the problem was due to the battery manufacturing structure, which leads to the sudden short circuit of the battery. All things subsequently ended with a teardown of the Galaxy Note 7 in December 2016, and the company has decided to stop production of this particular phone.
In this way making and breaking, Samsung is presently a top smartphone-making company that is learning from its incidences whether they are new or old and is trying to conquer the world by spreading all its efforts featuring multi-dimensionality and progressing towards making the world a better place to live in.

In Week II, the rollout of the May 2024 security update started in the US with the Galaxy S24 series, including the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra models. Samsung has since extended the availability of this update to more markets and is planning to release it for more devices shortly.
It is important to note that Samsung has also revealed that the May 2024 security patch addresses 45 security vulnerabilities, with Google providing fixes for 33 of these. The vulnerabilities include 33 ‘Critical’ and 26 ‘High’ levels of CVEs. It also provides s 25 SVE items.
Furthermore, Samsung has resumed the rollout of the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S22 series in Korea and has also made this update available in other countries. The Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21, Z Fold 4, Flip 4, and Tab S8 series have already received the One UI 6.1 update in the US and Europe.
Samsung is also reportedly planning to roll out the One UI 6.1 update to nine more Galaxy devices in Canada, with the update scheduled for May 14. This major update will enhance the security, stability, and reliability.
The devices set to receive this update include the Galaxy A54 5G, Galaxy A53 5G, Galaxy S21 FE 5G, Galaxy S21 FE 2022, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Z Flip 4.

May 2024 is going on and Samsung has rolled out a new update for its Camera app for Galaxy devices. Identified via version 14.1.00.71, the new update is elevating the photography experience for its users.
This fresh update enhances existing functions and addresses issues determined in the previous release. However, the update does not include any new features or changes.
