Samsung is reportedly working on two new Exynos mobile chipsets including a mid-range and a flagship. Previously, it is reported that the company won’t launch any Exynos variant of its upcoming flagship smartphone lineup, due to the poor response of Exynos 2200.
Meanwhile, the latest report claims that the Korean tech giant is still working on a new flagship Exynos processor that is likely to be installed in the upcoming Galaxy S23 series smartphones. The codename of that under-development chipset is S5E9935, while the Exynos 2200’s codename is S5E9925.
According to the company’s naming practice, this chipset might debut as the Exynos 2300 next year. However, there’s no information available regarding the upgrades and improvements of this chipset over the Exynos 2200 that packs AMD’s Xclipse GPU.
This year, Samsung extended the Snapdragon variant models’ availability to more regions compared to the previous years. The company is shipping the Snapdragon variants of the Galaxy S22 series in one of the biggest markets in the world – India, where Exynos was shipped for years.
If Samsung is going to introduce the Exynos 2300 chipset this year, it will surely be debuting with the Galaxy S23 series phones, however, the availability will be limited. If Samsung remains on its Exynos 2300 chip development, the Galaxy S23 buyers’ Snapdragon-only dream will remain a dream.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Massive camera
Although the design shows three rear cameras, there’s a giant camera that will surely be able to capture perfect shots. This design also reveals a 200MP, however, it’s not the recently launched Samsung ISOCELL HP3.
On Galaxy S23 Ultra, the company will use its first-gen 200MP camera which is ISOCELL HP 1. This is because the new sensor is judged as a lower model than the previous one due to its smaller size. Whatever the case would be, the device’s camera is going to be the company’s other hit.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Waterfall display
With this year’s S-Ultra model, Samsung provided slightly curved edges. While the Galaxy S23 Ultra will bring a more curved display. Also, the rumor that claimed the device will equip an under-display front camera has ended with this render as it shows a punch-hole selfie shooter.
Apart from these, the Galaxy S23 Ultra supports the S Pen which has an in-body compartment. It will have a Type-C port for charging and will not have a 3.5mm audio jack like its predecessor. Also, it’s worth mentioning that the new device has ditched the S22 Ultra’s non-camera module design.
Exclusive: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 will have 4 Android and One UI upgrades
Samsung will probably launch the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphones on August 10. The devices will however come pre-installed with last year’s Android 12L OS but a completely new customs OS – One UI 4.1.1 that will bring additional new features to the users.
Meanwhile, it is officially confirmed that Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 will get four major Android and One UI operating system upgrades and five years of security patch updates. It means these devices will get major updates till Android 16-based One UI 8 (possibly).
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4/Flip 4 four Android upgrades:
Earlier this year, Samsung made a significant shift in its software update policy, which claims that your flagship Galaxy smartphones will get 4 major Android OS updates instead of 3 and also a year ahead security patches. Even select Galaxy A series phones are eligible for this treatment.
The upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are two of the flagship Galaxy phones, which means these are compatible with Samsung’s new software update policy and will get 4 Android upgrades in addition to security patches for a year.
You purchased a flagship smartphone means you have put on so much money and you will not buy any other flagship phones for years. The new policy will better meet the longer lifecycle of smartphones and improve the long-term security if you are dependent on them.
Samsung President just revealed future of Galaxy Note and S23 Ultra
By giving the S Pen support to the Galaxy S21 Ultra, Samsung hinted that it has killed the Galaxy Note smartphone lineup. Later on, the company officially confirmed that there will not be any new Galaxy Note phone, while the S Pen stylus will live on.
According to the latest information dug by tipster IceUniverse, Samsung President of mobile division, TM Roh said that the Galaxy Note will continue to appear in the future, however, in the form of S Ultra, starting this year. To be mentioned, this year’s Galaxy S22 Ultra is a true successor to the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
It means future Ultra models will continue to be equipped with a Galaxy Note phone-like design with sharp corners and a larger display. And of course, Samsung won’t forget to bring the S Pen support with the future Ultra models of the Galaxy S series, as well.
Samsung says it is noteworthy, meanwhile, it is a hybrid variant of the Galaxy Note and Galaxy S flagships as the company just merged the Note’s design into the Ultra model of the Galaxy S flagship lineup. It made the S Pen silo arrive in the Galaxy S22 Ultra, and it will continue in the future as well.

Galaxy S23 Ultra
Samsung is likely to introduce the Galaxy S23 series early next year, however, there’s nothing official. Going by the statement of Samsung President TM Roh, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will pack a Galaxy Note line design such as sharper corners, a bigger display, and S Pen support alongside its dedicated compartment.
With the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the South Korean tech giant has impressively reduced the latency of the S Pen, making the note-taking experience similar to the real pen-copy writing feel. We can expect, the company will bring more features and durability with the next generation of Galaxy S Ultra.
