Jan 6, 2022 – Samsung Galaxy M51 December 2022 patch
While Samsung has already started sending the January 2022 Android security patch to its smartphones, some devices are still left to get the December 2021 security update. In a recent development, the OEM has started to roll out the security update for December month to Samsung Galaxy M51 users.
This security update protects a device from bugs and viruses. In addition, it enhances the security and stability of the phone’s system. As of now, the update is released in Chile. However, the company will expand the update to other region users in the coming days or weeks.
Samsung Galaxy M51 December 2021 update holds the Android 11-based One UI build version M515FXXS4CUL3. For downloading and installing it, we suggest that you should use an unmetered connection or WiFi to avoid extra cellular charges.
How to download:

Galaxy S23 is a big upgrade, but Samsung skips seamless Android updates yet again
Samsung’s latest Galaxy S23 series has everything for today’s needs including the fastest processor, the latest software system out of the box, and long updates support. With the Galaxy S23 series, Samsung skipped bringing the seamless Android updates feature, which was highly awaited.
According to AndroidPolice, the Galaxy S23 Ultra (naturally others too) doesn’t support the seamless Android updates feature after all. To verify it, the source managed to run the Treble Info tool, which confirmed Samsung has not enabled the seamless updates feature.
It is surprising that Samsung has not adopted the seamless Android updates support for the Galaxy S23 series. In an interview last year, the One UI department head confirmed that the company is working to bring seamless updates to Galaxy, which could be possible with One UI 6.
In the recent past, it was reported that the Android maker (Google) is working to make it mandatory for smartphone vendors to bring support for seamless updates. Samsung is best in terms of Android software updates, matching Apple’s dominance. Still, the company is missing this important feature, which became common nowadays.
No one is unaware of Google and Samsung’s sweet friendship, but the lack of such as great feature forces us to scratch our heads. With seamless updates, smartphones install new firmware updates in a second virtual partition to reduce downtime.
Smartphones like Google Pixel support seamless Android updates feature, letting you continue to use the device during the installation of software. Instead of going into a long downtime, seamless updates help phones to install the software to a second partition while you continue to use the main one.
As soon as the installation completes in the second partition, you are just required to reboot it for a few seconds to merge the new incremental software. We hope the Samsung flagship coming in the next half would eventually bring the seamless updates feature.
Samsung installs Maintenance mode on Galaxy A32, F22 in India
Samsung has started rolling out the latest software updates for Galaxy A32 and Galaxy F22 smartphones in India. Although the update brings the outdated December 2022 Android security patch, it installs a new Maintenance mode feature on your Samsung Galaxy A32 and Galaxy F22 smartphones.
Maintenance mode is basically the feature of Android 13-based One UI 5.0 software. Both of these phones grabbed the update in the latest 2022 but due to some reasons, the company did not install Maintenance mode at that time.
Now as the feature is released for the corresponding device users, they can experience enhanced privacy. Maintenance mode protects your privacy when someone else is using your phone, such as when you send it in for repairs.
Once enabled, it will prevent your pictures, messages, accounts, and other personal data from being accessed when you are not around your phone. It automatically switches your phone to a new guest user account so that no one can access your data.
Aside from these, the December 2022 Android security patch addresses 80 vulnerabilities and issues that affect the system’s security. These fixes include 5 critical, 60 high, and 2 moderate levels of vulnerabilities, which are a part of Google’s Android security bulletin, and 13 Galaxy-specific exposures that were harming various One UI apps and services.
You can now get access and take advantage of the Maintenance mode feature of your Samsung Galaxy A32 and Galaxy F22 smartphones by installing the newest software update. To do so, you need to visit the Software update section in Settings.

Galaxy Watch One UI 5.1 Camera controller:
