Samsung is sending a new software update for Galaxy A53 5G smartphone users that brings the May 2022 Android security patch. This update is released in the United States markets while it has been already released in some Asian countries a few days back.
The Samsung Galaxy A53 May 2022 update comes with One UI build version A536U1UES2AVE1 in the US. It mainly improves the security and stability of your device’s system and protects it from bugs and viruses.
According to the company’s May security patch details, Google fixes seven critical vulnerability items and more than a dozen security flaws of high and moderate severity to further enrich Galaxy’s performance.
Besides these, there’s nothing major that the official changelog mentions. You might notice some minor changes and optimization after installing the fresh firmware update on your Galaxy A53 5G.
Furthermore, the new update is currently live for the carrier-unlocked models in the US. If you are one of them, you can check and download it by entering the Settings of your phone followed by Software update and then Download and install option.
