According to the company’s May security patch details, Google fixes seven critical vulnerability items and more than a dozen security flaws of high and moderate severity to further enrich Galaxy’s performance.
Besides these, there’s nothing major that the official changelog mentions. You might notice some minor changes and optimization after installing the fresh firmware update on your Galaxy A53 5G.
Furthermore, the new update is currently live for the carrier-unlocked models in the US. If you are one of them, you can check and download it by entering the Settings of your phone followed by Software update and then Download and install option.
When will the Android 13 update for Galaxy A53 be released?
Launched a couple of months back, Samsung Galaxy A53 has received huge love from its users. This is a mid-range smartphone but is no less than a flagship in many aspects. It came pre-installed with an Android 12-based One UI 4.1 software system and supports four major Android OS upgrades.
While considering the Galaxy A53 Android 13 One UI 5, the device will be among the first mid-range phone to grab the new OS update. Although there’s no confirmed release timeline, we may see it in late 2022. Check out what features will the update get –
