Samsung announces heavy price-cut on Galaxy A52s 5G in India

Samsung earlier this week has launched the new Galaxy A53 in India, along with other smartphones such as Galaxy A73, Galaxy A33, Galaxy A23, and A13. Now the Company has announced the price drop for its predecessor A52s 5G, which was launched in the second half of last year. This device is among those phones which support 12 5G bands.
Samsung A52s 5G Price Drop
According to reports and others, there is a price cut for A52s 5G, available in two variants in India.
- Variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB Storage, Now priced at INR 30,990, earlier INR 35,990
- Variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB Storage now costs at INR 32,499, earlier INR 37,499
This is the second price cut by Samsung. At the start of this year 2022, the company has decreased the price of this phone earlier, but it was only applicable to retail stores. Now onwards A52 5G will also be offered at a lower price as we have discussed above.
Which one to opt for A52s 5G or A53?
According to us while comparing the price and specifications, A52s 5G has a more powerful processor that is Snapdragon 778G with Adreno 642L GPU as compared to A53’s Exynos 1280. Though both the phones run on One UI 4 and feature a quad-camera setup, with OIS, the 3.5mm audio jack really matters and creates a difference.
Galaxy A52s 5G on the battery part is a little bit behind A53 as it is equipped with a 4500mAh battery compared to the 5000mAh of A53. The other features such as Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C charging port with 25W fast charging support, and IP67 are considerably the same.
If you ask us, A52s 5G would be the better choice to stick with, considering the negligible difference between both of them, and if you want to upgrade it, the choice is yours and you can move with the new and refreshing handset A53.
