Many times people panic as it contains a lot of important data which they do not want to lose or due to some other reasons. However, Samsung Find My Mobile will help you find your phone with ease.

With One UI 4.1, Samsung upgraded all of its stock apps to provide the best use of its services, and so is the case with Find My Mobile. If you are an old Samsung device owner, you might be aware of this feature but if you are a new Galaxy user, Samsung Find My Mobile gives you access to the location of your device even when it’s offline.

At the same time, this feature also lets you backup your data to Samsung Cloud, block access to Samsung Pay, and control it remotely through the Find My Mobile website. And with the SmartThings app, you can locate your other Galaxy devices through SmartThings Find.

How to Enable

  • Head over Setting of your Galaxy device.
  • Go to Biometrics and security.
  • Click Find My Mobile.
  • Turn the toggle on to enable this feature.
  • Finally, Sign in to your Samsung account.

How to Find your device

  • Go to Find My Mobile website.
  • Setup your Samsung account that is available on your device.
  • Allow Google to collect your location information and agree to the Use wireless networks term and conditions.

Samsung One UI 4.1 Find My Mobile will provide you with the following options for your lost phone’s safety:

Locate my device: You can track the approximate location and route of your lost device.
If you have enabled the ‘Send last location’ option in settings, it will send your device‘s last known location before it was switched off to the server, helping you track the location

Lock my screen: You can lock the screen, the power button, and Samsung Pay on the lost device. Even if you have forgotten the screen lock code for your device, you can reset the screen lock remotely from the Find My Mobile website.

Ring my device: If your device is nearby, it will sound the ringtone for 1 minute at its maximum volume, helping you find the device.

Back up data: You can back up data from your device to the Samsung Cloud server.

Samsung One UI 6.1 brings an amazing photography experience with its enhanced Motion Photo feature. This enhanced functionality arrives with the Galaxy S24 series with One UI 6.1 and offers users the ability to capture the best moments with unmatched precision and creativity.

With One UI 6.1 update, the enhanced Motion Photo feature is available on the Galaxy S23 series including S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series. It is soon available on Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphones.

How to use the Motion Photo feature?

  • Launch the Camera app
  • Enable the Motion Photo feature by tapping on its icon.
  • Click the shutter button as usual to take a photo
  • Visit the Gallery and select your photo that has been successfully taken.
  • Tap ‘View Motion Photo’ to explore the frames.
  • Choose the best image in Motion Photo and apply ‘Quick Crop’.

How to activate it?

You can easily enable the Intelligent Optimization feature by following the steps below.

  • Open the Camera app, then Settings.
  • Tap on Intelligent Optimization.
  • Choose the desired optimization level
    • Maximum
    • Medium: Speed up capture time by doing less optimization
    • Minimum: Take pictures as fast as possible by not optimizing pictures after they are taken.
  • Optionally, enable or disable the Scene Optimizer.

Samsung One UI 6.1 Intelligent Optimization

This feature allows for customization of photo attributes such as sharpness, contrast, and brightness. For example, selecting the minimum level results in more natural-looking images, while the maximum level increases detail and sharpness, which is ideal for zoomed-in shots. Notably, the quality optimization setting of these levels only affects Photo Mode.

If you enable Scene Optimizer, it automatically optimizes the color and contrast of pictures to make dark scenes look brighter, food looks tastier and landscapes look more vivid.
