Telegram redesigned attachment menu

Telegram is one of the most vigorously developed messaging apps. The company is constantly rolling out new updates, bringing in innovative features, implementing new APIs, and more. The latest Telegram update includes a new download manager for media, a redesigned attachments menu, a semi-transparent interface on Android, and more.

With the latest Telegram update, the user when downloads a file in the app, a new download icon appears in the search bar. It allows you to view, rearrange, pause and restart pending downloads. This is especially helpful for those of you who rely on the service to receive large files.

What’s new – Telegram update

  • Download Manager
  • New Attachment Menu
  • Semi-Transparent Interface on Android
  • Redesigned Login Flow
  • Phone Number Links
  • Live Streaming With Other Apps
  • New t.me Pages

The update also brings aesthetic changes to the attachments menu. When you try to share anything in the app, the menu now has an advanced interface. Another decorative change is the login flow – that screen has been completely redesigned.

In June 2021, Telegram introduced semi-transparent headers for iOS users. If you have an Android phone, you can now taste the iPhone’s default system behavior when using Telegram in night mode. Additionally, the desktop client now supports live streaming app integration. So now you can stream live and access programs like OBS Studio and mobile users can watch your broadcast.

Finally, Telegram has made it easier to link to your profile in this update. For a long time, users could easily rely on t.me/username to connect with people.

Now – by default – you can also use the t.me link for phone numbers such as t.me/+12345678900. If a non-telegram user clicks on the t.me link, the webpage now shows more information, including the full chat history of public channels.

WhatsApp Beta helps you never forget unread messages from important contacts

WhatsApp Messages Reminder

WhatsApp has released a fresh beta update with version 2.24.25.29, which brings a reminder notification feature for unread chat messages. This new beta update is available for Android via the Google Play Beta Program.

Previously, WhatsApp only sent reminders for status updates from specific contacts, mainly those you interact with the most. With the new update, WhatsApp is expanding this feature to remind you about unread chat messages from your most frequent contacts.

These reminders are sent for messages from people you chat with the most. If you leave a message unread, WhatsApp will notify you to make sure you don’t forget to reply.

Notably, the app uses an internal algorithm to choose these contacts based on how often you interact with them. However, if you reinstall the app, this data will be reset, as it’s not saved in backups or on WhatsApp’s servers.

Once this feature is activated, WhatsApp will remind you about any unread messages from important contacts. WhatsApp also makes sure the reminders are relevant and helpful without being annoying.

This feature is currently available to limited beta testers who have installed the latest version of WhatsApp Beta for Android. WhatsApp also plans to roll it out to more users.
