Samsung Galaxy S10 Object Eraser: How to download, enable and use
The Galaxy S10 is a popular flagship smartphones lineup offering from Samsung. The Galaxy S10 series ships with Android 9 out of the box, and currently running the latest Android 12-based One UI 4.0 software system.
With the One UI’s every new version, the company brings major system optimizations as well as several new features. Debuted along with the Galaxy S21 series, the One UI 3.1 also included several new and user-friendly functions.

Named as Object Eraser, this tool comes with the One UI 3.1 update for the Galaxy S10 series. Using it, you can easily remove an unwanted thing, character, or object from the image you have captured using the Camera application.
Last year, Samsung delivered the One UI 3.1 update to the Galaxy S10 series devices, but it didn’t bring the Object Eraser tool. Meanwhile, the company has finally added the anticipated feature, thanks to the latest Photo Editor app update.

After updating the Photo Editor app to version 3.0.21.27, you can find out the newly added Object Eraser tool in the stock Gallery app. You just have to enable it through the Labs section, then choose the pencil tool to start editing. After selecting an object, it will be highlighted and you can easily remove it.
Steps to use Object Eraser
- Go to the Gallery and select the photo you want to edit.
- Now, choose the pencil tool to start editing it.
- After that, Scroll to the far right to look for the new icon next to Text.
- Tap on it and then select the object you want to remove.
- After removing, click the check button and you are done!
How to use Object Eraser?
- If the Object Eraser is enabled, return to the image with the object you want to remove.
- Scroll to the right of the toolbar at the bottom of the screen and tap the New Object Eraser icon.
- Tap the object you want to delete. The object is highlighted in purple. You can press to highlight multiple objects at once.
- Press Erase to remove each highlighted object from the image.
A few days back, Samsung teased the One UI 5 Watch operating system. This new wearable OS will be coming pre-installed with the next-generation Galaxy Watch lineup this August. Meanwhile, Samsung also starting the One UI 5 Watch Beta for current models this month.

How to join One UI 5 Watch Beta
To participate in the One UI Watch Beta Program, you must register through the Samsung Members app on your device:
- In the Samsung Members app, log in with your Samsung Account.
- If you do not have a Samsung Account, create an account on the Samsung Account site.
- Once logged in to the Samsung Members app, select “Notices > Registration for One UI Watch Beta Program.”
- Complete and submit the application form.
If you meet the participation criteria, you will be enrolled in the One UI Watch Beta Program.
How to download & install One UI 5 Watch Beta
You must be enrolled in the One UI Watch Beta Program to install the Beta software. To avoid compatibility issues, before installing the Beta software, make sure all apps such as Galaxy Wearable and Watch Plugin on the device are updated to the latest version available.
If you enrolled in the Beta program successfully, update notifications will be sent at the start of Beta.
To download and install the Beta software, on your device, select “Settings > Software update > Download and install”. You can also use the update menu in Samsung’s Galaxy Wearable app. Beta software updates are rolled out gradually to One UI Watch Beta Program participants.

How to enable Retrieve calls and messages
During the procedure of setting up Find My Mobile, you have already enabled the “Retrieve calls and messages” feature. It allows you to recover your calls and messages if you lost your Samsung Galaxy device or it gets misplaced/stolen.
Find my mobile will show you the last 50 numbers that your device has made or received, for calls and messages. To recover, you will first need to login into SmartThings Find using your Samsung Account on a PC or secondary device and follow the below-mentioned steps.
- On the Find My Mobile page, click Retrieve calls/messages
- Click Retrieve
- The last 50 numbers will display on your screen

Access AOD
