No, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will not receive the Android 13 update. As the Android 12 is the third major OS update for the device, it will not get any major updates in the future. Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

Samsung Galaxy S23 series starts getting a new firmware update, which installs the May 2025 security patch. It marks the first software update rollout after the 2023 flagship lineup has received the Android 15-based One UI 7 update.

May 2025 security patch comes in a 450MB software update for the Samsung Galaxy S23 family. It brings fixes for 58 high-level CVEs across the Android operating system. For additional protection, Samsung included 20 SVE items alongside.

Samsung has also specified the scope of this new OTA update. It’s limited to system security improvements by installing new patches. However, the following notes in the changelog hint at additional functional improvements.

All eyes on battery life

Following the One UI 7 update, a portion of Samsung users reported battery drain problems. We’ve also witnessed a sharp battery performance decline on various Galaxy models, including the S24 Ultra and S23 Ultra models.

Samsung’s May 2025 update should fix the bugs causing excessive battery consumption. While the changelog notes nothing specific about the battery, we are quite hopeful for battery life improvements following the May update.
