New Samsung Galaxy S22+ leak talks about Europe pricing

Samsung Galaxy S22 series could launch on February 8. The lineup reportedly includes three models – Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra, Ahead of any official announcement, we witnessed multiple leaks and rumors about the devices that unveil their specifications, whereas, the latest one lifts cover from Galaxy S22+ pricing.

According to the Dutch website Galaxy Club, the S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra have been listed in Europe with the codenames SM-S901B, SM-S906B, and SM-908B respectively. The “B” here means an Exynos chip, whereas, “E” means a Qualcomm-made chip. It suggests that the European S22 models will come with Samsung’s Exynos chip and not Qualcomm.

On the other hand, previous reports suggest that the Indian and UK variants of the device will also equip the Exynos chipset, of course, it is a newly launched Exynos 2200 mobile platform, whereas, the US model uses a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.

Samsung Galaxy S22+

Moving on, the mid-tier Galaxy S22+ is apparently priced at €1,190 for its 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant. It is €190 more than its predecessor Galaxy S21+. Besides, the report doesn’t reveal any other information on this matter, we’ll likely find out more in the coming days or on February 8.

Aside from the new details, the Galaxy S22+ sports a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, which will have a peak brightness of 1,750 nits, as per older reports. The phone features a 50MP primary camera in addition to the other two – 12MP and 10MP cameras that can capture images in 12-bit. It has a 4500mAh battery with 45W fast charging compatibility.
