Telegram 8.4 update brings message reactions, spoiler formatting, translation and more
Telegram, the leading instant messaging application is releasing a new update. This new update brings many new features for Android users along with iOS. In an official blog post, Telegram adds one of its long-awaited features, namely message reactions, along with some other features to its app.
With the Telegram 8.4 update, users will now be able to send message feedback to specific messages. Telegram users can now send their reactions using emoji to share their feelings and reaction without sending a message. To send a response, all you have to do is double-click on the message.
You can change your default response by going to Chat Settings> Quick Response.
In particular, this feature is already available on other messaging clients such as iMessage, Discord and Slack. So, this feature is now being broadcast live for Telegram.
Next, Telegram also adds animated emoji effects. These new emoji effects only show up when chatting with each other. Tap on the emoji where you can see the more complex emoji effects.
Additionally, the company is adding support for the “Spoiler Alert” feature. To select any part of your text, select Spoiler from the pop-up menu and your message will be hidden. The message will also be hidden from the notification. To see the hidden message, you just tap on it.
The translation is also coming in the app with this new Telegram 8.4 update. Since the telegram allows you to connect with individuals in public groups, there should be no language barriers when connecting. Now after updating Telegram, users will be able to translate the app from the app itself.
To enable translation, you need to go to Settings> Language.
Additionally, users can now generate a QR code for the public username. Groups, channels and bots are also supported. Users can share their QR codes and choose the color or pattern of their choice. You can get the QR code for your username from Settings.

Samsung has released an update for the Flow app, which can be identified as version 4.9.12.8. The update focuses on enhancing user connectivity. It is available on the Galaxy Store with a package size of 7.86MB.

Samsung rolling out the Good Lock April 2024 update through the Galaxy Store. The release brings functional improvements and bug fixes to Samsung’s One UI customization suite.

The update’s changelog mentions improvement for the “Update all” function. Bug fixes are also included which should improve the customization experience. Hence, Galaxy users are advised to install the latest version as soon as they receive it via the Galaxy Store.
Good Lock’s latest update comes as a fresh release over the last that happened in late January. The application hasn’t received any new updates in February and March. This makes the April release a significant update in terms of bringing improvements.
